At just 8 weeks old, Cherry Garcia, Phish Food, Americone Dream, Chunky Monkey, and Chubby Hubby a re ready to scoop themselves into new homes! These tiny rats are packed with sweetness, curiosity, and enough energy to investigate every corner of their cage at least seventeen times before lunch.

Unlike actual Ben & Jerry's flavors, these five won't melt if left out... but they may steal your heart, your snacks, and possibly your favorite hoodie sleeve. Each youngster is looking for a separate home where they can continue their important research into treats, naps, and general rat shenanigans.

Rescue Plea for Cardi 💔

Cardi, a beautiful Doberman/Mastiff mix, is searching for a second chance.

Animal Control responded to a heartbreaking call (https://www.charlescountymd.gov/Home/Components/News/News/6245/) involving a dog being beaten with a bat. Cardi was seized for her safety, and after her case was heard in court, she was finally given the opportunity to leave her past behind and start over.

Despite everything she has endured, Cardi remains a loving, friendly girl who still trusts people. She enjoys playing fetch (even if she sometimes keeps the toy for herself!), knows commands like sit, lay down, and paw, and walks nicely on a leash.

Cardi has shown incredible resilience and deserves a future filled with kindness, safety, and love. We are urgently seeking a rescue partner to help this sweet girl find the fresh start she has been waiting for.

Please help us give Cardi the happy ending she deserves. ❤️🐾

Imagine spending your entire life in one home, with the same family, the same favorite napping spots, and the same routines that bring you comfort. Now imagine having to leave it all behind at 15 ½ years old.

Lizzie never expected to be looking for a new family in her golden years, but here she is. This tiny, front declawed, Himalayan has a gentle soul, a love for soft beds and tasty treats, and a heart that still has so much love to give. She has been a faithful companion her entire life and deserves a home where she can spend her senior years feeling safe, cherished, and loved.

The greatest gift isn't adopting a kitten with a lifetime ahead of them. Sometimes it's opening your heart to a senior like Lizzie, who simply needs someone to give her a place to belong once again. Meet her during adoption hours M-F 11am-4pm and Saturday 10am-3pm.

🚨 Calling All Bulldog Heroes! 🚨

Meet Chubbs — the bulldog who clearly missed a few meals before arriving at the Care Center as a stray, weighing just 17 pounds. Thankfully, this goofy guy has been living his best comeback story and has bulked up to a much healthier 36 pounds! 💪🐶

Now Chubbs is ready for his next chapter: finding a rescue group and, ultimately, his forever home. He's a friendly, energetic, tail-wagging machine who loves people and approaches life with the enthusiasm of a bulldozer on zoomies. 😆

Like many young-at-heart fellows, Chubbs could use a little help polishing his manners, but he's eager to learn and has all the ingredients to become an amazing companion.

If you've got room in your rescue program for a lovable meatball with a heart as big as his head, Chubbs is ready to roll into your life! ❤️🐾

Jenson, a 10-month-old Australian Shepherd mix, would like to clear up a rumor. Just because his name sounds like it belongs in the credits of a blockbuster animated movie doesn't mean he's secretly directing one. Although, if he were directing a film, it would probably be called "Shrek 5: The Search for More Tennis Balls."

Like Vicky Jenson helped bring Shrek's world to life, Jenson is ready to bring a little adventure, comedy, and snuggles to your world. This handsome young guy is part athlete, part comedian, and part professional supervisor of all outdoor activities. Need help gardening? He'll inspect every hole. Going for a walk? He'll happily lead the expedition. Sitting on the couch? He'll make sure you're not lonely for even a second.

At just 10 months old, Jenson is still writing his story, and he's hoping the next chapter includes a forever family. Unlike Shrek, he doesn't want to live alone in a swamp. He'd much prefer a comfy home, plenty of adventures, and a human sidekick to share the spotlight.

"Dear Humans,

I have carefully reviewed the shelter accommodations and have determined they are... too noisy, too crowded, and frankly, a bit much for a sophisticated Chihuahua such as myself.

What I am seeking is a lovely home where I can listen to crickets chirping under the stars, birds tweeting in the morning, and bees buzzing through the flowers. A peaceful place where I can focus on important activities such as napping, accepting affection, and sampling delicious snacks.

I would also like to request one comfy dog bed, unlimited love, and a family that understands the value of a good cuddle.
