The vets diagnosis for Bruno's eye issue was Dermoid Cyst Resection. Bruno is doing well after surgery and enjoying some enrichment time with out his cone... and this is the ONLY time he is allowed time without his cone. Bruno made many friends while at the vets on Friday, he so enjoyed all of the attention!!! His surgery was a success and Bruno will go on to live an energetic, wonderful happy life with his new family we hope to find him soon!

Our sweet Bruno from the Encanto group has had a bit of a hiccup. This sweet boy, who loves to meet everyone, and who is a social butterfly, needs our help right now to correct a small issue with one of his eyes. It seems there is some extra skin that is causing some pain to the little fella. This will require surgery to correct, which has been scheduled for Friday September, 30. The vet indicated that he’ll be feeling better after his surgery with no lasting affects! Our friends @Tidewatervethosp will be performing the surgery.
As a small rescue in the Southern Maryland area, we need every penny to continue to pull dogs from overcrowded shelters and work with them to find them new homes. We are humbly asking for any donations from our followers and supporters to help us offset the cost of this surgery. All donations are tax deductible. Any amount will truly help us get Bruno feeling his best.

Awwwww is this not the sweetest? Mochi (4 yr old pit mix) is teaching Cookie (3 month old pit mix and Mochis puppy) how to be social and a good boy! Blush was the perfect errand running buddy and loved her day out with all the new sights and sounds. She seemed unphased by all the new noises and focused on leash walking, and restraining herself when it came to all the wonderful smells at the pet store and eventually Blush earned the reward of a pupcup! And she made sure to get every last drop!
