Edit: The helicopter has departed.

Our neighbor kangas has a helicopter coming today at 11 if looking for something to do with the kids! Not every day you get to see a helicopter and pet a guinea pig, hold a snake, and feed a fish!

Ladies and gentlemen, we are back up and running again today. If you need to get out of the house, cool off, charge up (I know my neighborhood is still without power) come on by!

Edit: power IS on. We will remain closed today for cleaning and lack of internet.

Still no power today. The centerpoint map shows it is expected to be up today so we will see what happens.

Still no power 🫠 fingers crossed for that to change soon. Power is on across timber forest from us so they are working on it. There’s going to be some clean up needed after power comes back on. Frozen food is all spoiled, and with the heat and humidity, there’s a lovely aroma I’ll have to take care of.

We are without power for now but will be up at the shop doing water changes and trying to figure out what to do next. I was able to get to the shop yesterday morning while trees were still falling and everything was okay. Feel free to stop by today if the door is open.

Hopefully everyone is safe and sound after the storm last night. We are already open if anyone needs a battery powered air pump for their tanks or anything else. If you are without power and have a temperature sensitive reptile or amphibian, we can board them while things get sorted out (please just call or message before bringing them.)
