☮️Where is Wallys forever family?!?!?! ☮️Who wants to help a dog..who wants to make a real difference in this dogs life? We need you! You could gice him a chance to relax in a real home (he was a stray, to our knowledge he's never been in a real home, never napped on a sofa 💤or had a chance to enjoy any of the comforts of pet life). Wally loves people but he's not quick to ask for affection and hes not horrible with other animals we feel he is just too wired up from living a shelter life😳 that he doesn't know how to act right which is why we feel having him as the only pet to start would be best. We would LOVE to find him a family devoted to helping him just as he is, letting him adjust giving him time, keeping him safe and taking him on adventures all while learning how to be a member of the family🏞 Please share and tag anyone you think could give this boy a great life!!! Hes been waiting a rrreeaaallyyy long time. ☮️🐾💚

She is a young Maltese/terrier mix fully vetted, shy at first but give her just a minute to warm up and the puppy in her takes over!! 2 of her brothers have been adopted and are doing great in their homes!! We are working on the 2025 grooming schedule!!! Send me a text if you would like to be on regular appointments!! I'm also looking for some new "harder pooches" several of mine graduated and my girls groom them now so we are looking for others that need help learning that grooming isnt so bad. ((The ones others say need sedated)) I have yet to groom a giant schnauzer or a giant poodle...If you know of anyone with them that needs a groomer please tag them!! it's on my bucket list!! It’s that time of year again!! In just over a month we will be having our 3rd Annual Moffitt Animal Shelter fundraiser from 11:30-4:00 at the VFW in Dakota City!! Our board members and shelter family will be out asking for donations for our silent auction and selling raffle tickets!! Raffle tickets can be purchased through the shelter, from board members and at both Humboldt Veterinary Clinic and Harmony Animal Hospital! This year’s raffle has some great stuff on it!! Kramer Family Farms (Dr. Erin Kramer’s family farm) is donating 2 half hogs and the processing of them is being donated by West River Meats!! 50 dollar gift certificates have been donated by Tim and Nick’s in Dakota City, Pasquales in Humboldt and Unkies in Thor! Mechanical Solutions has donated a Blackstone griddle again this year also! We will draw for these raffle prizes at the event. There will be DJ Bingo again, and a permanent jewelry vendor will be available throughout the event as well! We will be posting items and baskets that will be available during the silent auction in the upcoming weeks. We had a wonderful turn out the first two years and hope to have the same this year as well! If you would like to donate a basket to the silent auction, message us! We can figure out logistics on picking them up or meeting to receive them from you. Thanks for all of your support and we hope to see you at the event!!

For anyone that doesn't know Duane Wheeler he is a friend to all of us local rescues!! He is always up for helping if he is able and sometimes like us all ....he stretches to help even more. He has taken in these two wonderful dogs for a short time to help a human out and his goal is to have them both fully vetted so that when their owner is ready for them to come home that isn't something they have to worry about (they have wanted it done just didn't have the means to get there) We want to help too!! We are hosting another short n sweet Bake Sake this Saturday 9-12 to help him reach this goal!! Not only is he just being a great human he's making sure these girls don't accidentally contribute to the overwhelming pet population issue we are all struggling with. Our goal is to raise $300 anything over that will continue to help spay/neuter more homeless dogs and cats!!
