Hey Everyone! You might be wondering why you are seeing all these “fundraising” events for Rowquin Rescue … please let us explaine. As many of you know we foster pups … well, we have had 7 in our kennel for the last 3 years! Yes, I said 3 years. I had very little control over their marketing, training, applications, or anything else that may have helped them get a home. So, I decided to do something about it. Hence, Rowquin Rescue (in loving memory of our two pups we lost tragically and suddenly in 2021). The rescue that we fostered for agreed to sign the 7 pups over to our rescue, and my life mission is to help these pups get the training and homes they desperately deserve!
They see the same 4 walls day in and day out. They see all the guests come and go and they never leave. They don’t understand why no one ever comes to see them, walk them, or play with them. Of course we do, and they likely think we are their parents and we are, but we also know they can have a far better life outside the kennel.
Yes, they all have something “special” about them and not one of them is a puppy so they are often overlooked. But with your help and support I’m confident we can make a difference in their lives! No we will not be running to other states to bring van loads of dogs in, our focus is these 7 dogs because we love them so much. ❤️🐾
I write this just to let everyone know who Rowquin Rescue is. It was founded by me, Lisa Thewes, the same family that you are all so wonderful to let us care for your furbabies. We know every one of you has a choice where to board and groom your pups, and we are soooooo grateful you choose us! You all know how much we love your furbabies, so I’m sure this doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone.

You’ve all heard the story… when we were in Pittsburgh we were big into fostering and rescuing pups. Well, this week we were blessed to care for one of our foster pups we haven’t seen in almost 4 years!!!
Nothing warms our hearts more than to see one of our foster pups living their best life ever!! This sweet little girl brought back so many precious memories from the ‘burgh.

We are so excited to share the good news with our Alpine Family! Rescuing/fostering pups has always been a part of our lives, and we always knew we wanted to start a rescue to help those pups right here in our community. The day has finally come!! 💖 Rowquin Rescue has been approved and is officially a 501(c)3 non profit organization. It's all volunteered based and we are hoping to make a difference in our community for the pups who need it the most. Please help us spread the good news and share and like our page.
