After 18 years of operation, we have made the difficult decision to close Elkhorn Animal Health Supply effective May 31, 2023. The location will no longer be an animal health supply store, but instead is being converted into an office building. We made the decision to close Elkhorn Animal Health Supply due to the new regulation taking effect June 11, 2023 that will then require all injectable, feed, and water antibiotics to be prescription. The antibiotics that you are currently able to buy without a prescription (such as LA200, penicillin, sulfa, lincomycin, mastitis tubes, etc.) will only be available with a prescription from a veterinarian that you have a valid Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR) with. Dr. Kirk Neeley will continue to practice veterinary medicine from his house on a totally ambulatory basis, and will be able to dispense any medications, vaccines, and supplies that his clients need. Kirk can be reached by calling his cell phone (402-920-0532 or Julie's cell phone 402-920-0530). The decision to close Elkhorn Animal Health Supply was very difficult, but made necessary by the upcoming regulatory changes. Thank you to everyone for their patronage for the past 18 years at Elkhorn Animal Health Supply, and for the past 32 years at Madison County Veterinary Clinic, and we hope to continue to service your needs in the future.
The reduce our existing inventory, we are discounting all tack, saddles, Montana Silversmith jewelry, all western decor, and most small animal and livestock supplies by at least 20%. Now would be good time to get your Christmas presents for animal lovers on your list.
Best Wishes and let it rain!!!
