Bees and stinging insects can leave our pets a painful reminder not to mess with them. Check out this miniscule stinger. This small item caused one of our patients significant lameness. Our team at UVC removed the stinger and treated the patient for the secondary allergic reaction.

Allergic reactions can cause intense itching, hives, vomiting, diarrhea, facial swelling, and in rare instances an anaphylactic reaction that can be fatal. If you pet has an altercation with a stinging insect, it's best to be evaluated for any potential side effects.

If your pet gets stung, bring your pet immediately to Urgent VET Care. Our experienced staff can evaluate and treat your furry family member to ensure they are healthy and safe from these dangers.
