Thanks to Sheniqua for reuniting Rocky with his heartbroken mom. Sheniqua is a fourth year veterinary student at The Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine completing her senior year externships with us at Urgent VET Care. Rocky and his housemate, Milo, ran away last week in Reisterstown. Milo is still missing. If Milo is seen in the area, please contact the local shelters, SPCA, and/or UVC to assist in reuniting Milo with his family.

Patients have much better outcomes when treatment plans are targeted around clear test results. Rapid diagnostic testing at UVC allows us to provide a timely and effective treatment plan. A urine sample like the one shown here helps your vet know a bunch of information including details about your pets kidneys, blood sugar, urinary tract, liver health, hydration, and more.

Look at all those crystals found under the microscope! There's a variety of crystals however, struvites are the majority in this sample. Struvites look like miniature coffins floating in your pets urine.
