14 3" 4yr old AQHA gelding

"Jerry" is the quietest 4 yr old we have had at Shaws Performance Horses in a while (Think Jerry Garcia in the form of a bay horse)

Small horse, big stride!

He would be perfect for a knowledgeable amatuer or youth! (He lived with the Amish for a bit so he's really, really quiet!)
He is bred to be quite the reining/cow horse and has a fabulous foundation, but we think he would much rather move out and he sure is fancy doing it!
A wonderful friend of mine who is a fantastic dressage trainer came to give him a spin the other day and LOVED him! He also went to a working equitation clinic the other day and was a SUPERSTAR!
These disciplines are new to him, but he has an amazing personality, so willing to learn, and is easy to work with.
Oh, and he's "beer drinkin" quiet out on trails!

2014 16+h AQHA Gelding

Here he is...
The kind that are impossible to find.

"Roy" came to NC from a working ranch out in Shawnee, where he was worked 5-6 days a week. He was purchased by a good friend of ours who's very involved in Rodeo. He has drug bulls, worked the pens, done pick-up, etc. (They even used him in some summer camps, too!) A real work horse! They have nothing but wonderful things to say about Roy, other than how much they regret parting with him!
He now belongs to a lady that has been showing him in Ranch classes at Open shows, hauling him to cow clinics, trail riding... All the things! He would be the perfect mount for the ARHA shows or Ranch Rodeos. He is regrettably for sale due to some life changes.
This horse is sound, unbelievably solid, and suitable for just about any level of rider.
He will pass a vet.
He is current on everything.
He comes with all his "jammies*, as he's a big guy with big clothes!!!
Rope off of him, trail ride him, go horse show... He is ready for anything!

This handsome hunk is a solid, stout 15 1" 8yr old AQHA gelding. Old school working lines on his papers.
Only 2 owners!
He worked ranches and a legit feed lot, and got hauled around out in Kansas before moving to NC 3 years ago, where he's been living the cushy life as a kids trail riding horse/pet.
He would LOVE to go back to having a job. He's a little rusty, but has all the talent and buttons to make a fantastic finished horse for someone! Or, just go grab a cold beverage and go for a nice quiet ride! He feels like a rocking horse!
Barefoot, current on all vetting, teeth just floated, and all he needs is his new person!
He's such a nice horse and we look forward to finding him the perfect match!

UPDATE:
Unfortunately, haven't been able to land him a spot in the barn so officially listing on the market this week.

When our dear friend Kristen passed, we were placed with the task of finding the best homes for some of her beloved animals. We have found outstanding homes for her donkey Benji, her little goats, and her stunning yearling...

Now, it's time to find the perfect match for her heart horse, "Hopper"...

Official sale ad will be going up when we get a video done.

MEANTIME!
We are giving special consideration to anyone that would be willing to purchase and keep him in our program.
No one wants Hopper to go.

At 4yrs old, he has been with us since his 60 days at University Of Florida. His training program was based around Kristen's needs, and he's is very quiet and easy to get along with.

He would be an exceptional horse for someone wanting to learn more about Western all-around events, or someone looking to get into showing AQHA/ breed shows.
He has placed in the Top 3 in some huge AQHA walk/jog Horsemanship classes, been shown in the Walk/jog trail and pleasure successfully, and has so much to offer. (Have we mentioned he's stunning!!?!)

This lovely, solid built, 15h (+) girl is going to make someone a great mount! She's got a wonderful foundation and has been lightly started in Western Dressage. Super smooth gates and an easy ride.
She has been trail ridden off property (Leatherwood) and has also been used for some advanced rider flat lessons.
