Due to unforeseen challenges in an increasingly competitive market, the difficult decision has been made to close Carolinas Veterinary Care Clinic. With a heavy heart, it is announced that the final day of service will be March 7, 2025. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand how difficult this news may be.

We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Alycen Adams, a founding member of CVCC, who has been a dedicated veterinarian since 2007. Her passion, expertise, and love for every pet have shaped our clinic into what it is today. Dr. Adams has been a comforting presence and a true advocate for countless pets and their families over the years. Please join us in recognizing her immeasurable contributions.

As we prepare for this transition, we are committed to supporting our clients through the process.
📧 To request pet records, please email [email protected] with the subject “RECORDS REQUEST” and your pet’s name.

💳 Active Petly Wellness Plans will end on March 7, and any remaining services can be used before then. If a refund is applicable, we will reach out with further details.

📲Our online pharmacy will no longer be available after the close of business on 3/7/25.

Thank you for placing your trust & the care of your pet in CVCC. Your understanding and support during this transition are truly appreciated.❤️

NEW VET STUDENT EXTERN DROPPING TODAY 😎🥳🥼🩺🐱🐶

We’re excited to welcome Nakai who will be with our clinic for a couple weeks! If you see her, be sure to say hello! Here is a little background on her:

I am a fourth-year veterinary student at Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine and will be receiving my DVM in May 2025, making me a 2x graduate of Tuskegee University! I truly love all animals, but after graduation, I hope to focus on small and exotic animal medicine. I am originally from The Rocket City, Huntsville, Alabama, but I am looking to branch out to other areas after graduation. When I am not caring for and learning about animals, I enjoy listening to music, dancing, and binge watching 90s sitcoms!

🐾❤️ February is Pet Heart Health Month! ❤️🐾

Did you know that pets can suffer from heart disease just like humans? Early detection is key! Kyle and Sully want you to watch for signs like:

🔹 Coughing that won’t go away
🔹 Difficulty breathing or tiring easily
🔹 Fainting or collapse
🔹 Decreased appetite and weight loss

Regular check-ups and heart screenings can help keep your furry friend’s heart strong. If you notice any of these signs, schedule a cardiology check-up with your vet!

It’s time for another Veterinary Extern!! 🩺🐶🐱

Kelsey will be joining us starting next week, so here is a little bit about our newest vet student!

I am currently a fourth-year veterinary student at Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine, where I am set to graduate in May 2025. Originally from Loganville, Georgia, a small town just outside of Atlanta, I pursued my passion for science by earning a bachelor's degree in biology from Savannah State University. My journey in veterinary medicine has been shaped by my love for animals, and I am particularly interested in small animal and exotic animal medicine.

Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I enjoy painting and crafting. I also love spending time with my kitten, Olive, who brings joy and companionship to my life. As I look forward to completing my veterinary education, I am excited to continue learning and contributing to the well-being of animals in my future career.
