When Cachengo buys an 800acre farm with tons of trails… we find a way to make work fun!!

Fridays are trail riding training days. Our horses are excelling in the arena, but, we want them to be confident horses on trails also. So, we officially made Fridays to be our “Trail Riding Training Day” for the babies!

Comet (a 5 year d Appaloosa)and Ashes (a 4 year old AQHA) did absolutely amazing yesterday!

We added a new Bridge to the obstacle course, built by James Bailey.

Angus tried it out first. He APPROVES!

When Cachengo buys an 800acre farm across the street, you can literally ride horses from one barn to the other.

Last week, Ryan, got to spend several days of her fall break trip to TN, with me and the horses!! We were excited to have her enjoy horses and beautiful tn weather!!! She did absolutely amazing riding after only 3 lesson days!!!

We added another obstacle to our trail obstacle course! (The kids will walk through the cones, back their horse the whole length of the cones, and then trot out.)

We have a competition coming up soon for the equestrian students! We plan on adding several new obstacle challenges for them to work on!

Today our tiny equestrians learned how to properly hold and use their reins to ask their horses to ride around obstacles.

We were so busy learning horseback I failed to take any photos 😔 They did amazing tho!

Tuesday we had a little rain shower just to cool everyone off and then God gave us the most beautiful 🌈RAINBOW🌈 for the kids to ride under the remainder of the afternoon!

Ruth and Lainie (Krista’s daughter) participated with horses and Dalton audited this weekend at a Parelli Level 1/2 Clinic with Mckensey Courtney 3 Star Parelli Professional.

Excited to watch these equestrians learn and put into practice the Parelli 7 games on the ground and in the saddle. Watching them form partnerships with their horses and work through challenges/obstacles as a team was a beautiful thing to witness. So proud of them.

We are so excited about our Thursday After School Program that started yesterday. Thursdays are kids ages 5-9.

I am so thankful for mommas who take photos bc sometimes I get so into teaching and forget to get those sweet photos!
