This young lady adopted one of our ponies many years ago. She did an amazing job training and bonding with her that pony.
As a team they did fantastic and ended up going to pony finals. When we went to visit and watch her show at the finals, I asked Morgan what she was looking forward to and she said, riding in the Olympics!!
Fast forward and look at her now 😊
She is a phenomenal young lady and an outstanding equestrian.
I have so much pride and love for you Morgan and I can only hope to come watch you show again soon ♥️

Sadly I am posting that our cute, ornery little fella, Manlee passed away last evening 😞
He came to us 10 years ago as a very malnourished weanling whose mama passed away and he was just being fed hay. He had many issues from parasite overload to bulging eyes that didn’t always want to work 😞
He was so weak that he walked around with his head down and was off balance.
We just allowed him to wonder around with us like a dog so he wouldn’t be alone.
Although he had improved so much over the years, as he got older he began to show signs of eyes issues and being off balance again. After vet visits and testing (all negative) we decided to let him live a happy life until it was his time. Yes, we want them to live forever, that isn’t possible and Manlee went peacefully in his sleep.
We will surely miss that character but we know he would have died without our intervention as a weanling.
Rest easy sweet boy - we love you 💙

PS - if you could keep Manlee’s buddy, Lenee (last picture) in your prayers it would be appreciated 🫶🏻

Welcome to CVRS, Tedee 💙
This little gem was just brought to us this evening as he was found sitting along the road all my himself.
Feisty lil feral thing that liked to hiss when you opened the box lid 🤣😂🤣
Such a tiny thing that is just at the age to eat on his own, thanks goodness.
He wasn’t sure how but is picking it up quickly. We will get him some meds for upper respiratory gunk going on, along with his one eye needing some attention.
We do not normally take in cats and dogs but I know the kind soul that brought him to us. She offered and I know she will follow through with helping us financially to make sure he gets what he needs, including neutered when old enough.
He has settled in well and was purring away when he snuggled in on my neck 🥰

Good Evening…..
It has been awhile and I wanted to jump on and give a quick update.
First and foremost I wanted to let you all know that I understand our website is down. It has been one complication after another but I will be focusing on getting things going in the right direction.
I also realized that I am not getting notifications about FB messages 🤦🏻‍♀️
I will see what the problem is there as well.
We are NOT taking in any large animals at this time. We have plenty here to handle and with no funds coming in, we definitely have enough on our list to handle financially.
All our fencing is falling down as it is old and rotted. With all the downpours and wind we have had, that definitely didn’t help.
We have plans to replace fence once we find or raise the funds and get the time.
Hay season is upon us and we always keep our fingers crossed that we are blessed with the opportunity to get it all made and in before bad weather 🙏

We are always thinking of ways to raise funds and also ask for any ideas you may have. Anyone can do a fundraiser for CVRS, you just need to be sure to let us know because unfortunately there are a lot of people that use good non profits to collect funds for themselves 😡

I will hopefully get some updated pictures to share and keep you updated on things but it is pretty non eventful around here and we thank God for that 😉

Farewell my Trixee lover girl 😞
She was one of the first cats to show up after we built the barn. She was very very old and never friendly until about a year or so ago.
I think she finally realized she was missing out after watching all the other barn cats snuggle.
In the end, she couldn’t get enough love. She was a sweet girl and she will definitely be missed around the barn. I am grateful she went peacefully in her sleep.
Rest easy old girl......❤️
