With the hot summer weather going on throughout the USA, we felt it was important to share tips for how to prepare for the shipping and receiving conditions for livestock. This way, aquarists can learn and inform themselves about the acclimation process pre- and post-shipping.

While it's a challenging time to ship livestock, we take extra precautions during the preparation step for the livestock by including R-rated insulation, extra styrofoam, additional foam, and wrapping paper or newspaper to help keep the heat out and insulate and regulate the temperatures inside of the package. We also stand by our D.O.A. guarantee so rest assured your livestock will usually arrive healthy if the carrier is on time!
