Did you know that veterinary technicians have a wide variety of skills. For example, sometimes they're the dentist. Other times, they're anesthesiologist.

Today, we had the privilege of our lead Surgery RVT Abbie, doing 2 types trainings today. Abbie came from internal medicine and has a level of proficiency that we all appreciate, especially passing the knowledge on to other staff to contribute to our patient care 🥰

We just love our senior patients. Especially when they're doing their bi-annual exam and labwork to ensure they continue to live happy and healthy lives 🥰🐕💜

Holly was such a sweetie today during her exam with Dr Lewis and RVT Abbie.

Did you know that as our pets get into their senior years, it's highly recommended to come in for an exam 2x a year and, at minimum, a full blood and urine screening annually.

Wow, little Olive was so relaxed at her first vet visit with Dr. French 😍🥰
We'll be sending her 💩 out to check for parasites. She has a clean bill of health, and she thoroughly enjoyed her Churu treat 😋 We are starting he4 vaccine booster series today as well

Natalie is one of our 2 registered veterinary technicians that we have here at HBPH assisting in surgeries and daily appointments. They must complete the schooling, be supervised and signed off on skills before taking their test.

Furr-endly Reminder that the Huntington Beach Air Show ✈️ will be going on this weekend from this Friday October 4th through Sunday October 6th.

☎️ If you know your pets need something to relax them during this time, Please call the office to request medications, as it does take up to 72hrs for any doctor messages or prescription requests.

We will also be open this Saturday from 8am-1pm

Sometimes we need to come up with ideas on how to keep your pet looking cute when you pick them up from a surgery. Especially a surgery location as such. Swipe ➡️
Thanks to our wonderful technicians and their extra skills, they were able to braid little Pepper Liberty's hair 🐕💜 and then fix her top Knott after her teeth cleaning and mass removal 🥰😍😍
However she was not happy about her protective cone 😅😂
