One year old Skye is a dainty girl with quite the personality, as you can see here in her photo shoot!

She was due to be killed this week, but now, she has a chance at life.

Skye is in Houston but will be coming to New York as part of Home Run Hounds Animal Rescue, Inc. after she completes heartworm treatment. She will be looking for her forever home. Keep an eye out for Skye’s New York debut!

Joey was saved from death this week and will never, ever see the inside of a shelter again.

He is a gorgeous boy and maybe even looks like a tough dude. The reality is that Joey has been pretty scared because his life has been dramatically changing. He went from the confines of a shelter to a new place with all new surroundings.

Joey was recently at the vet’s office to get neutered and the staff said that at first he was timid, scared. But dogs can be very resilient. Even though some humans have failed Joey, he quickly became their friend.

After Joey receives heartworm treatment, he will leave his foster and come to Long Island since he is now a part of Home Run Hounds. Keep an eye out for updates on this really special boy. He will be available for adoption when he is heartworm free!

She was about to be killed on Tuesday but we couldn’t let her die.
She is so sweet, loves to play with other dogs.
She’s right around 40 lbs.
Lucia will be coming to Long Island on Saturday July 22nd and NEEDS A FOSTER home! Could you open your home up to her temporarily?

Meet Sid ❤️

This Houston born boy is only about a year old and was on the list at the shelter to be euthanized because the shelters are over crowded.

But, now he is safe.

Sid is coming to Long Island in July 22nd as part of Home Run Hounds Animal Reacue.

He needs a home to call his own! Sid loves to play with other dogs and has been playing with a pack of five at his AMAZING foster mama’s house in Houston. She gave him a bath yesterday and said he was SO good and behaved like such a good boy.
