& I had a really fun day together !! Team Addison & Teddy finished champion in both the short stirrup eq & hunters with some really nice riding she was proud of. The 2nd show for team Scarlett & Percy and they are really cute together!! Team Ellie & Phoenix are my favorites watching them become better and better each show. As much as it was a yellow & white ribbon day for the littles they both were really great and they are recognizing how competitive horse showing really is!! We finished the day winning CUTEST COSTUME with the pack of Minons put together- well done girls, we always finish the day focusing on the positive & there was a lot to be excited about! Next stop 🚚😍🌟

Pony Kids: show up rain or shine, get back on when they fall off, practice hard things, support each other, get on whenever they are asked, recognize how far they’ve come, love their ponies, groom their ponies, always give cookies before they go, understand success takes hours of practice. 🥰🎠❤️

I never grew out of loving ponies. The thing about ponies as feisty as they can be is when they let you get it right, you know they really love you and love what they do with you. These kids are too tiny to control a pony from ability itself, a magical pony will give them their freedom when they are loved and understood. ❤️🎠

Our lease with the famous Pixie Dust is sadly coming to an end and although we snagged her back once already I do think her work here is done with . Pixie is a unicorn, she decided when all these girls were ready to canter and gave them immense confidence from huge leadline wins, walk trot champions, first canters, first crossrails, first courses and even the occasional lead change when she’s feeling spunky. This beautiful aged pony is one in a million for any tiny child’s pony riding dreams. Contact me for loads of videos & information she deserves the best home & best care. ❤️🧚‍♀️🤩

Scarlett Calame gave Fox in Socks the best farewell ride. As today finished our lease with Ginger, Scarlett earned nice ribbons in the Walk Trot !! We reminisced about everything Ginger did for us this summer. She gave Addison more confidence jumping courses, she taught Ellie how to canter in May and then let her jump around the short stirrup at the Hampton Classic at the end of August. She & Scarlett earned so many walk trot ribbons at every show & kept her safe cantering at home plus jumping first xrails. I know we can’t keep all the ponies but, I am going to miss Ginger a lot, she’s an incredibly special pony. Thank you & what a blessing for these sisters to share this special pony. ❤️❤️❤️

Super first week of back to school Carousel Kid pony lessons in the books!! 📚 So grateful to my loyal clients as Carousel Farm is approaching its 4th year anniversary in December and warm welcomes to my new clients who are just jumping in!! Our program is officially full for our school year and so excited to watch the progress as these kids develop!! 🎉🎠🥰❤️

After an amazing Hampton Classic Horse Show we completed a light week of lessons letting the ponies have some deserved down time. I can’t believe summer break is over, It feels like last week we were gearing up for Pony Camp to begin. My kids grew so much this summer, they all hit their goals we made together. The ponies were just fantastic every single day, we are so lucky to have such a great group. We learned at every show how to become even more competitive for the next one. The kids cheered each other & myself on with celebrating the highs and supporting each other’s lows. Congratulations to all the Carousel Kids, you guys are a super cool bunch and I wish you the best school year and plenty more pony riding to be had!! ❤️🎠🥰

What an absolute awesome day with in the Short Stirrup today!!!! Addison Calame finished Reserve Champion in her large section with a win in the walk trot canter flat & 2nd place walk trot. She even had her first ‘flat off’ to break the tie! Teddy is the best pony in the whole world!!! Ellie Calame bumped up to the short stirrup for this show & Ginger was the best girl for her!! They had so much fun in her first walk trot canter class and her very first cross rail jump trip was the best to see!!! These girls have worked so hard all summer to be ready for this show and it couldn’t have ended better!! ❤️🎠✨🥰🤩

Wow!!! Carousel Kids came to leadline today!!! I am incredibly grateful to have had 6 girls compete in the historic Hampton Classic leadline this year. These girls practiced all summer and their commitment paid off to compete with such elegance & confidence today. Winning the Section C of the younger 2-4 year old was Miss Lenox Rottenstreich aboard Carousel’s First Steps!!! She then continued onto earn 2nd place over all 32 youngers. The returning winner Scarlett Calame secured another Section win this year in the older 5-7 year olds at just 5 years old herself and went onto finish 4th overall 53 amazing riders!!! CC Upward piloted the best Chloe and was thrilled with herself as she should be for her stellar performance!! Miss E Dolan was all smiles with Phoenix competing in her younger section!! The itty bittiest Peyton Fishlinger also navigated Chloe in her enormous group of youngers. Finally the lovely L Dolan also rode Phoenix in her section looking stunning together!! Words can’t express how proud I am of these kids, ponies, parents and my team. Today will be one to remember for a long time!!! Thank you for capturing it all!! ❤️🎠🙌🎉🤩

Whose idea was this to show in the rain today… 😵‍💫 what it takes to horse show & then what it takes to horse show in the rain is what sets apart a kid that rides ponies as opposed to a pony rider. I’ve got 3 fierce pony riders, the little ones had the option to scratch and both in the ring they went. So much tenacity to not give into the easy way out. Is that why we do this, to prove to ourselves what we’re capable of but, let’s make it harder with sideways rain. They don’t hesitate, they show up, they’ve prepared, they’ve made a plan and they will get into the ring to show the judge what they are made of and it’s truly inspiring to watch. So much so that my almost 38 yr old self definitely felt like showing for the first time in ages could wait for the sunshine but, these 3 kept me accountable and I actually had so much fun. All the time & I have put into Cora together made this moment not just possible but, enjoyable for Cora too. What would the rain sheets be for anyways if not to be used. We could have best ended today like a game on the field with our fellow competitors, high fives & “good game” to everyone who showed up because we did it. ❤️🎠🥰🌟☔️

My leadline kids had a super special day of prepping!! Blown away with .ruri artwork for the kids to learn from. Super special thank you to .darren for judging my kids allowing them to answer all their questions on their ponies. We have some very smart cookies who have worked hard all season to complete this month!! What a wonderful afternoon together!! Thank you to all my pony families we’re ready!! ❤️🎠🍪👏🏻❤️

Another Sunday Another Horse Show. we had a beautiful day! Little Lenox had another awesome Leadline experience with the best Chloe pony!! My little walk trot sisters Ellie & Scarlett both earned super champion ribbons in their respective strong divisions. Ginger & Pixie are absolute dreamboats. Addison & Teddy also finished champion in the SS Eq as well as earned great ribbons in the xrail hunters together. Pony riding is a journey that all 4 girls are taking in stride, the lessons gained from everything that happens in one show only makes them stronger pony riders. ❤️🎠🏆
