Sometimes we get so busy that we miss out on huge milestones. The off-season is just as busy for our team as we spend most days planning for the year ahead.

One thing we love about our website, APTiming.com, is that it keeps a running total (no pun intended) of races and participants that we time.

A huge congratulations to our overall winners, Jude Stevens (16:42.91) and Ella Hardin (18:03.41)! 🏆👏

This race holds a special place in our hearts. Not only does it directly benefit our local animal shelter, but it also features a unique event where participants can pick up a shelter dog and walk with them for 1 Mile. This helps the dogs socialize and increases their chances of finding a forever home. 🐾❤️

A heartfelt thank you to all our participants and a special shoutout to the City of Nitro for hosting us. We can't wait to see you all again next year!

9th Celtic Calling Gathering, 5K Kilt Run and 2K Walk, Saturday March 1st

“Charleston is one for the books, my 36th State overall!. We all agreed that the run was one of our favorites for the beauty of it and the bagpipes playing beginning to end! (Not the hills!!) Most importantly, the PEOPLE!! We met the nicest people at the run and right after at the coffee shop. We went to two breweries and caught up with more people at The Blue Parrot while dancing the night away listening to the Rogues. We had a fantastic trip." - Visitor from Illinois

This fall, we are thrilled to introduce a new race featuring the legendary Braxton County Monster! The official date will be released once approved. This year is a test run of the new location, and we need your support to make it a success.

If everything goes well, we plan to launch a Cryptid Series/Challenge in 2026 featuring multiple cryptids throughout West Virginia.

We won't announce the official date until everything is fully approved, but we wanted to share an exciting update on the logo. Take a look and see if you can guess what it means for 2025!

Our 2024 was absolutely INCREDIBLE. We timed nearly 150 races, directed a total of fourteen signature events (including the Elk River Rail Trail Marathon/Half Marathon and Marshall University Marathon), and those events raised about $52,000 for local non-profits and scholarships, keeping funds in our area. We are absolutely blessed to have had such a successful year and to be able to do what we love.

We want to thank all directors, partners, and participants for putting their faith in us to get the job done. We are honored to be your timers. As we look forward to 2025, we are already starting to book up. If you want to be on our schedule, now is the time to reach out. Here's to another fantastic year ahead!

We had an amazing time this morning at the Hot Diggity Dog 5K, supporting the Putnam Animal Shelter! Despite the chilly weather, we were thrilled to see nearly 100 participants join us.

Kick off the Holiday Season on Friday, November 22, 2024 -- Walk or Run through the Christmas Lights at Coonskin Park, Charleston!

Get the 1st look at the Lights before they open to the public. We’ll have hot chocolate from Starbucks, cookie decorating with Crumbl Cookies, pictures with Santa, caroling, and contests, too!

Every participant will also receive a ticket to 2024 Salango Law, PLLC Dirty Birds Light the Night, presented by GoMart.

PACKET PICK UP -- Thursday, November 21st -- 4:30pm—6:30pm at City National Bank, 3601 MacCorkle Ave SE, Charleston, WV 25304 in the Sam Bowling Conference Room.

Race packets can also be picked up at the event on Friday.

Check in and race day registration will begin at 4:30pm at the Columbia Shelter in Coonskin Park. 5K Run/walk begins at 6pm.

All proceeds from the event will be used for therapy services for children with disabilities who have insufficient insurance and/or income.
