My dog Dak is missing, he’s a gray and white pittie. He’s 8 years old about 80 pounds.
He’s microchipped and wasn’t wearing a collar. Last time he was seen was on Rt 75 in Lavalette/Huntington near Heritage Park Road, around 11:30am on 1/21.

He’s sweet as can be and has always been an inside dog.

Lost bobtail male kitty. Has a dark blue collar on with a bell. He has medical issues and needs care. If you see him please call 360-908-359. He was not lost from our clinic. Just a request to post for a family who is missing him very much.

We will be closed tomorrow January 11th, due to the weather that will affect our region this afternoon and Saturday morning. We will have staff to care for the patients and boarders we have in clinic. They are number 1 priority. If you have an emergency please call Tri State Animal ER first to make sure they are open. Kanawha Animal ER is the other emergency hospital, but please call ahead to make sure they are open as well. We will reopen Monday January 13th at normal business hours.

Ticks and mosquitos are active in winter when we have warm days above 35 degrees. It is important to protect your dog every month all year round.

Hello, pet parents!

Due to the inclement weather and overall winter storm, Ayers Animal Hospital will be CLOSED tomorrow (Monday, January 6th, 2025) to ensure the safety of our team and clients. Please stay home, stay warm and stay safe by keeping off the roads. Our current plan is to reopen Tuesday for our regular business hours (weather dependent, of course).

We *do* have people coming in to take care of all animals at the office, so if your kiddo is boarding or hospitalized, don't worry- we've got them covered! If you have an appointment scheduled, we'll do our best to get you rescheduled promptly!

Ayers Animal Hospital enjoyed the evening at Ritter Park in Huntington WV. Greater Huntington Park and Recreation hosted a Doggie Trick or Treat. We gave out over 200 treat bags along with other giveaways that Boehringer Ingelheim, Purina, and Royal Canin donated for the Doggie Trick or Treat. We greatly enjoyed this community event and seeing so many dogs dressed in costumes. We had such a great time.
