Please keep your pet's inside in a cool area, plenty of water and do not walk your pets on concrete or on blacktop. The temperature can literally burn the pads of your pet's paws. Walk early in the morning or late in evening when the sun goes down to let the hard surfaces cool down some. If your pet gets too hot do not give them super cold ice water to drink this can shock their system. Normal cool water from the faucet is ok. We love to take our pets on car rides but during the hot season please, please do not leave them in the vehicle. Just leave them home in the safe, cool air conditioned home. We want you to come home to their unconditional love and their excitement that you are home.

Hi, pet parents! A quick announcement: this coming Friday (2/9/2024) our lobby and phones will be closed during the lunch hour for team training! If you're planning to pick up any diets or prescriptions on 2/9/24, please plan to come before 12:30pm or after 2:00pm. This is specific to this coming Friday *only*, all other days the lobby will be open during our normal business hours. We like to update you that our phone lines are still down, but we are praying Weds Sept 27th that we will be getting our phones back up and working hopefully in the afternoon. The phone company are working on badly damaged phone cables and taking way longer than expected. We chose to go fiber optic and it will be installed Weds. So please be patient with us just a little while longer and looking forward to talking to you again on the phone and making things go a little quicker. We're sending out an S.O.S. for newspapers! We use newspapers for out kitty litter boxes, as well as kennel liners for our hospitalized patients- if you have any newspapers or have the ability to collect them, we're running critically low! Please drop off newspaper donations at any entrance to our building (if delivering outside of normal business hours) or with reception (during business hours). Thank you!
