We are a small organization that works to eliminate euthanasia at local shelters by finding reputable rescues to accept local animals also with some local adoption. Today has been a little crazy thank you Malissa Blevins - Lowe for helping monitor the injured tom cat, unfortunately after long hours in the heat we still could not catch him. Thank you Bernie's Buddies Rescue & Advocates, Inc for helping try to catch him and thank you Teresa Atkins for being on FaceTime giving us ideas. Even though we did not catch him, we finished the evening with a successful trap and caught 4 kittens that Bernie’s has been working hard to catch!

Welcome, Kanio, to our group. This sweet girl has been hanging around off and on at a volunteer’s house since November. She has started her vaccines and flea prevention, has been dewormed, and has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Her spay and dental with extractions are set for June 30th. Please donate to help us with Kanio’s vetting.
