Rosie (fawn pup)
This speckled nose baby girl was most likely born sometime around the first week of April, and weighs around 20lbs. She is tall, lanky, long, with a beautiful fawn coat, and has the little underbite. She was dumped, left to die with her siblings in a crate, off the beaten path. Thankfully they were found by a kind woman and taken to safety (one sadly, did not make it). We have struggled to get this baby where she needs to be, she came to us weighing only 3lbs, emaciated, full of parasites, her little legs bowed from malnutrition, but she is getting healthier, and catching up a bit. Rosie is ready to play hard, nap hard and find her forever family!
Foster Mom started crate training from the beginning, you're welcome! No, she is not house trained, she is still a wee babe and has a long way to go. Rosie is living in a home with other dogs, and absolutely enjoys their company. She can be a shy girl around people, but has been around children, and is more comfortable around them than she is most adults. Cats if introduced now, might not be a issue. She's starting to get comfortable on leash and during car rides.
She needs (as all puppies do), someone with time, patience and the knowledge to get her through the terrible puppy stage, but also work on building her confidence, (she is not as out going as her siblings). She needs exposure to knew things, new people, and understand she might never be the in your face out going kind of dog. She needs someone to help her become the best girl she can be!

CC, (but we also call him Pig Pen on occasion- from Charlie Brown, lol) is 2 years old, and weighs 33lbs. He is an action packed hilarious little guy!

CC is all Bull Terrier, lol! Clownish, quirky, rowdy, energetic, stubborn (but still a very good boy)! Experience is a must. No small children as he easily gets overstimulated and has the tendency to get nippy. Hence the name CC (chewy chomp), lol. We have no idea how he is with cats or other smaller animals. He does well with his foster pals both male and female most of the time, however, he can be extremely rough/rambunctious in play and can be difficult to redirect. Often I have to step in to stop his relentless torment or so things don't escalate. CC also guards his food from other dogs, so feeding separately is a must, he has been known to guard empty food bowls as well, so feeding is in the crate and then all bowls put up. He would be excellent as an only dog.
CC came from a cruelty case, but despite the horrors he endured/witnessed he is a happy, exuberant boy who enjoys sunbathing, military crawl dragging his belly across the grass, rolling in dirt, and butt scritches. He however, is not doing great with house training, most likely due to the conditions he lived in. He will eventually catch on and has shown improvement. This clown can be vocal at times, especially to let you know when he wants (demands, lol) something.
This guy is awesome and deserves to live life to the fullest! We actually have his sister (she came to us 8 months prior), and would love for him to stay, but it isn't ideal to keep siblings together and he is a bit much for

Viola has not been officially cat tested (we don't have small animals). She has not been around children while in our care, however, she has a good nature and would most likely do well with older considerate children. Vi is not a fan of car rides. A trip to the vet is doable, but she isn't a travel partner. Overall, Viola is a pleasure to spend time with and would make a beautiful addition to the family.
Blue coated dogs can suffer from skin/coat/immunological issues ranging from mild to severe and can become quite costly over their lifetime, however, Vi has a excellent coat and doesn't appear to have any major allergies. A high quality diet is essential!

Octavius (blue brindle)
1 year, approximately 35lbs
To start, we don't sugar coat things, so we are going to give it to you straight, because lying or excluding information doesn't benefit anyone, especially the dog. This boy is considered special needs. He has pretty serious separation anxiety and cannot be crated. He will absolutely destroy, escape and harm himself in the process. He has scars on his ears and face to prove it! He is not fully house trained, we believe that anxiety and the kennel environment play a huge role in this. His back legs are wonky for lack of a better term, either a genetic deformity or caused by starvation/malnutrition. Slows him down a little, but does not seem to cause him pain. We started him on cosequin and it seems to help with the stiffness at least. He has a sensitive stomach. We have struggled to find what works for him, but the current diet and supplements he is on has worked for awhile now, fingers crossed that continues! 🤞
Octavius needs to be in a home with someone who is possibly retired, works from home, or can come home often. He has presented a lot of challenges, but he deserves the best of everything in life. He deserves someone who will love him for the rest of his years. He has probably never known what it is like to live in a real home, with a family. It was apparent he was horribly neglected and probably never knew kindness.
This boy is extremely sweet and affectionate, he desperately wants to be your shadow. He is super playful and loves other dogs his size, larger and young pups, we have no idea how he is with small breed dogs and really needs someone his size to play with. He would be fine with considerate children, but no cats!
