Huntland 4th of July celebration

We have decided to cancel the celebration at the park on July 4th 2020. We were in limbo on making decisions and planning and covid 19 halted the planning process. With the uncertainty if anyone would attend with the social distancing guidelines in place, and our timeline we thought best to postpone again this year. Once the threat is over we can continue to carry out this tradition in our great community. The next celebration will be our 70th and we wanna make it bigger and better. If you or anyone you know would be interested in helping or joining the lions club feel free to message or call 931-308-5837. We would love to have new members with fresh ideas on how to serve our community. Stay safe and well wishes!

P.S.A. We wanna start by saying we are super excited about the grant and plans for our new playground here in Huntland. Due to the circumstances of the park being under construction we have decided to cancel this years event. We will come back next year with a top notch facility and start where we left off to make our 70th year bigger and better. We want to take this time to thank our yearly Sponsors who always help with this event. We also wanted to get the word out so you could make other plans if you had planned on attending this event. LIST OF EVENTS FOR THE 4th OF JULY!!!

1030- parade line up at school
11- until- all day BINGO
11- until- basketball shot
11- until- slide, and bounce house
11- until- dunking booth (cub scouts)
12-3 live music on lions club stage
1- co****le tournament
3-4 politicians hours
3- homerun derby-little league field. Ages 6-adult
7:30- headliner band- JACKWAGON (you don't wanna miss) (bring your lawn chairs and trucks are welcome to fill the back rows for tailgating)
9:45- fireworks
Band will end around 10:30

There will be a co****le tournament on the 4th starting at 1pm. 50/50 split on proceeds. 10 per player. Also we have added a new activity that's sure to bring lots of fun! A HOMERUN DERBY! Ages 6- adult. Starting at 3. So pass the word and come on out and enjoy the day with us at Huntland city park.
