I apologize. We are spacing everyone out and getting to everyone as fast as we can for Yard Services. Arnold has to have rotator cuff/ shoulder surgery, and he is not able to help with yards. We are scheduling for WEEKENDS ONLY right now.

It has been a while since we posted anything. Our daughter had an all day assessment last week, Thursday, to determine possible autism and/ or verify ADHD. We go back on the 21st to see what therapies and recommendations they may have. On top of that, our elderly friend fractured her pelvis and so we've really just been focusing on her and our family right now. If we cannot pet sit for your fur babies, please understand it's honestly nothing personal. We are a special needs family and always try to do the best we can and meet the needs of everyone. It's not often that we say 'no' to someone. Please try to remember that less than 24 hours notice can be difficult to assist with. Thanks for listening and I hope everyone is doing well.

I haven't shared a post in 22 days. Just goes to show how sick we all were. SO glad to be over covid. And the kids both had RSV. Literally sick for a month.

I'm so sorry we haven't really been consistent in doing yard services these past few weeks. Aside from the rain, our son has RSV and we're all trying to get over being sick in general.

Minou is so pretty. But he is a senior male cat with some behavior issues and who doesn't quite like me as much. However, he LOVES my husband, Arnold. Minou's parents had been through a few different pet sitters before they found us. We have been watching Minou for a couple of years now and it's been amazing. ❤️

Sweet Iowa. Tomorrow, Thursday, we will be saying goodbye to Iowa. He has congestive heart failure and has taken on so much water, to the point where he is no longer comfortable. Keeping him any longer will just prolong his pain. Please keep Iowa (our little water balloon, as Kailyn calls him now) and Kailyn, in your thoughts. Iowa is very special to Kailyn.

I hate to post it, but we're looking to re-home one of our betta fish. She is not playing well with our other fish. I have a 20 gallon LONG tank for her and some possible plants or decor. Would need your own filter and light though. She is SUPER pretty. But we can't keep her.

Update on Kingston:
In a miracle of events, Kingston is still with us. He's down to 7 lbs. from 10 lbs.
He is back on chemotherapy medication.
He literally hadn't eaten from Sunday morning to Wednesday night. 3-4 Days.
We had made all of the plans for his end of life. We are so grateful that he hasn't left us. But our animals are all getting older and the inevitable will come. I just hope it holds off for a while. I don't know how much more stress we can take. We are so attached to our animals, especially Kingston. Please continue to send good vibes, thoughts, prayers our way. ❤️🙏 Kingston has definitely been through the wringer and definitely weathered from the storm. But he's resilient. He's eating little by little. And is on 3 meds a day. Only time will tell. But so far, a lot of good things.

After this week, our lives will be forever changed. And not for the better. We have made arrangements for Kingston's end of life stage. He has intestinal cancer. He was in remission for about a year, but we believe it has returned. Unfortunately, at this point he has stopped eating. He is on pain medication from the vet until tomorrow when we go for an ultrasound, which will probably confirm things. His quality of life is getting shorter and we don't want him to suffer. He has been our most beloved animal for the last 12.5 years. No other animal on this earth will ever be able to take his place. Please send good vibes our way as we navigate this very sad time for our family.

Our only car had a flat tire this morning and our tires were just all around in really rough shape. We will be moving yard services to Saturday/ Sunday. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I feel like groomers have one of the worst jobs. It is so difficult to handle some animals, and it's an extremely underpaid profession. Have you ever tried to groom your own dog at home? All of the time, mess, and at the end, it's not a professional cut. You know what I mean...

We are temporarily fostering 2 rabbits through Anderson Humane. These babies will be spayed/ neutered next month and then will be available for adoption. Happy monday! Remember, it's over 80° outside. To avoid heat stress, and for safety reasons, dog walks should be limited to no more than 20 to 30 minutes tops. Stay cool! 😎
