Today is the day to recognize our outstanding practice manager, Shelby!! She keeps MVP operating at a high level and supports our staff better than we could have imagined. We are extremely thankful for her and could not do this without her!! Her job is super tough and she does it with such grace. We are excited to watch her continue to shine. We LOVE you Shelby!!!!

Last but not least we recognize Brittany, a licensed veterinary technician! She is the newest member of Team MVP and fits perfectly! Her laid back, easy going nature is a breath of fresh air 🙌🏼

Brittany excels with caring for ICU patients and client education. She has also jumped right in to exotic animal medicine!

We love your attitude Brittany and greatly appreciate your dedication to continuing to learn and educate yourself and those around you. We can’t wait to see what you do next!! Love that you are on our team!!!

Today we highlight Cole! Cole is one of our surgery techs who is an anesthetic pro (can always find the pulse with a Doppler!) She is also our oncology tech, administering chemotherapy to our patients needing treatment.

Cole is a wealth of knowledge in addition to her advanced technical skills. She is very thorough and has a lot of compassion for her patients. And she is very peppy!!

We are very lucky to have her and can’t wait to see her continue to develop and grow! Love you Cole!

Today we recognize Hailey, a veterinary assistant! Hailey is in school to become a licensed veterinary technician and we are so excited to watch and support her on that journey.

We love our Gen Z girl. Hailey keeps the energy of our clinic young, fun, and she tires to keep us all hip and trendy. Hopefully you all have seen Midtown’s TikTok, which is all her doing!

Veterinary medicine is lucky to have a gem like Hailey, her passion, drive and compassion motivate us all and remind us how lucky we are to do what we do 💗

Today we are highlighting Sam, our treatment Lead. Sam is a veterinary assistant with over 13 years experience.

She is the glue that holds our team together! On her days off, we all FEEL it because she is so good at what she does. Sam can multitask better than anyone, makes it look so easy, and does it with a smile. She is the best at keeping everyone, especially the doctors, on task 😬.

We would be LOST without Sam! We appreciate everything she does and are so very thankful for her.

We love you so much Sam!

This week is national veterinary technician week and we are starting off by highlighting Amanda (Walker), licensed veterinary technician (LVT).

Amanda is such an asset to our team with her extensive knowledge, experience and superb technical skills. She never fails to get the sample we need after we have all attempted, and can place a catheter in the tiniest, most dehydrated vein. Placing an IV catheter in a crashing guinea pig really blew our minds🤯

As our head surgical tech, your pets are in the best hands possible!! She has also been trained in performing abdominal ultrasounds (and always finds the adrenals!)

Walker we love you, appreciate you and are so thankful for your contribution to the team! (Even when you sometimes complain about our team activities 🤪)

We are so excited to introduce a new team member to MVP! Here’s a little intro from Brittany, licensed veterinary technician….

I began my journey in veterinary medicine by volunteering at veterinary clinics in 2016. I eventually moved up to kennel technician while I was enrolled into the veterinary technician program. I started as a veterinary assistant in 2020 until I obtained my license in 2022. I transitioned to emergency medicine in 2023 to gain some experience in critical care. My favorite part of the job is being able to reunite pets with their owners when they’re feeling better. In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking, and traveling to new places to explore.
