Good Morning!

I checked a few things off the ole to do list already today.

✅️rearrange furniture
✅️fluff pillows
✅️plyometrics workout
✅️socialize the puppy

Now I will go eat my breakfast and nap. All in a days work. 🤗

I've been allowed to play off lead in the front yard so long as I come back when called and don't try to sneak to the back yard. I've done it before so I know the secret. 😉 Foster Mom says there is too much stuff for me to get into back there without being on a lead. I thought about it once for a split second but I was a good boy. 😁

Foster Mom says some people are concerned about my first few pictures from October 2022. You guys noticed my toe was hurt and it was! The shelter told my foster mom that my leg may need to be amputated but that she couldn't see it before paperwork was filled out! She knew I needed out of there fast.

My toe swole big and popped on its own, it was an abcess. I was on antibiotics for a bit. A year later and you can't even tell it was there. I got to keep all my piggies! 🐽

These piggies would love to make an imprint on a forever families heart ❤️

Axle's first night out of the shelter was hard for him. He quickly displayed his dislike of being crated and love of a human's touch. Those coos he made to us were everything after hearing him wimper and bark from being alone in his new surroundings.

He has since gotten routine down and will self entertain when left alone uncrated. Sometimes that's a good thing, sometimes it's not. 😆 He is always forgiven. ❤️

Axle found himself in BARC Animal Shelter in Houston Texas, in October of 2022. He was given 5 days to find his owner, a rescue, or an adopter. He was only 24 hours from his deadline when his foster family stepped in. He was brought into our home to decompress and heal. He had interest almost immediately and was approved to go to his new home!

7 months later he was returned for being too active and for going after a chicken. We welcomed him back with open arms. He has been back in foster for 4 months and has been hoping find his forever home since.
