The weather is going to get cold. There will likely be 4-5 days that even the highs don't get above freezing.

Please make sure your outside animals are well protected. Please bring inside everyone that can Sat-Tue night. Even outside dogs or cats can spend a few nights in a crate.

Do not use blankets or hay for outside dogs and cats. They need straw. They can freeze to death on damp blankets, but straw will insulate.

Hometown Farm and Feed has straw for $8 a bale. They have dog houses for sale too.

We have some straw and a couple dog houses to give away to animals living outside. Please come by or call (479)738-1505.
