Raised in Huntsville, Alabama, she serves as an Associate Veterinarian at McCurdy Animal Hospital, focusing on companion animal care, preventative medicine, and dermatology.
She began her veterinary journey with a degree in Wildlife, Fisheries, and Aquaculture from Mississippi State University and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Auburn University in 2016. This blend of education allows her to approach animal care with a unique perspective.
Family is essential to Dr. Struthers. She and her husband, Brandon, have four children and a dog named Kenzie, who is a beloved part of their family.
