-Do not place any glass or ceramic ornaments on low branches within easy reach of curious cats or dog's wagging tails.
-If you have a real Christmas tree, make sure you keep the tree stand covered to avoid them drinking the contaminated water.

To all of our clients that guessed Maine C**n for our breed of the day, you are correct!

Some breed facts unique to this feline:

They are considered the only longhair breed native to the United States. As well as being the largest domesticated cat breed in the world, with males weighing up to 18 pounds.

Maine C**n's are actually the official state cat of Maine, with many folk tale's associated with them. They are a very playful and loving breed, with a lion like mane being a recognizable trait.

She is a silly playful girl and has definitely been a joy to see another hospital kitty running around and interacting with the staff and clients.

We had the pleasure of meeting Pogo today and love his harness with bat wings. He was the perfect patient and enjoyed posing for the photo op (of course with owner permission).
