Basic Obedience….the more you know 💫

offers both 3 and 4 week board and train programs for basic obedience. In each program, pup’s will learn 5 basic commands: sit, down, climb, heel, and come (recall). These programs are designed to give your pup a strong foundation in obedience so they can thrive at home in their daily life or prep them for more advanced obedience or specialty programs. Many people contact us about behavior modification—bad behaviors are fixed through good obedience. Once your pup, (and you too,) learn our communication system, you can correct unwanted behaviors that may pop up and you can also add to the basic 5 commands and grow your pup’s obedience library.

Tony and Ziva are finishing up their 4 week program and one extra request their mom wanted, was for them to learn to shake. Their mom wants to be able to take them to the nursing home to greet and visit with the residents. We see them providing many smiles in the future!

(Caveat: shaking isn’t always the best, especially with large breeds, so be mindful of the situation ☺️)

Brynn and Oskar passed their mock certification tonight. Oskar has been such a good boy and we’re glad we’ve been able to give him a few good manners. 🤗

Next stop for Brynn is Madison, FL where she’ll certify to join Ryan as a trainer for . 🤞🏼

Often times, the larger, power breeds get a bad rap because of their aggressive look and size, but this stereotype can be overcome through proper training. Carina, the Cane Corso, is just a few months old; she demonstrates her obedience after 2 weeks in our program. By imprinting her from an early age, her owners can remain in control as she gets bigger and stronger.

It’s always amazing to see how well these pups work after just a few short months of existence.
