#TTK9HSV has been busy gearing up for our Phase 2 Foundation Dog®️ Certification Testing this weekend. The #zuluzone has been working on his “bring” command which is used to teach the pup how to gently retrieve items for their handler or for work as a service dog. Zulu gets so excited to train each day and has been giving max effort—PROUD of him!

Our boys, Zulu (and Ryan), received their Phase 1 Foundation Dog®️ Certification on Saturday—whoot whoot! 🎉 With our new certification, #ttk9hsv is able to offer more to the community through obedience, tracking, scent detection, and protection. And with each certified phase we complete, the skill level becomes more advanced, offering you the best of the best in dog training.
Today, begins Phase 2 work and we’re stoked to see little man continue his progress!

Hellooooo November! Had a great first vet visit yesterday. Zulu is growing like a weed and is 16lbs! of healthy cuteness.

Chai had a great first week! He has been attentive to commands and enjoys prancing during his training sessions. As we enter week 2 of 3, we up the pressure and begin proofing his commands with distance, duration, and distraction. The goal is for Chai to execute command positions while also comprehending rewards and corrections. Looking forward to another productive week and successful owner demo.
As we enter into week 3 with Zim we’re slowly increasing the pressure on him to test his internal conflict resolution, all while assisting him through the process with rewards and corrections. Zim has historically had issues handling increased load and has shown reactivity to new humans and dogs. We used Syx as a tool in a controlled environment to see how Zim would react to the pressure of another pup and human passing by. We'll continue to work in the training center with the hope of introducing him to a public setting in the coming week. These boys did awesome!
Chai has started week 1 of his board and train program here at #TTK9HSV. Chai is the sweetest bernedoodle pup that is the true definition of PUPPY- an innocent, spunk-filled, happy explorer of life! During this first week, we are familiarizing Chai with the facility and boosting his confidence. In our training sessions, our goal is to lure him into the positions we want to see and we can then start introducing our 5 basic command words as we tie them to his newly learned positions. Check out Maggie! Week 3 of her 4 week basic obedience program! This young lady is just 6 months old and is a testament to the training techniques and processes we apply here at TTK9 HSV. Maggie is already conducting indoor off leash work at a very high level and has shown a mastery of the 5 basic obedience commands.
Great work, Maggie! You have been a true joy to have here at the training center and we can honestly say that we’ve learned just as much from you as you’ve learned from us. Hope to see you back for the Advanced Course someday! ❤️
