A year ago Peep Peep was rescued here in Huntsville on Sam Houston Street which is a very busy road. Today he struts his stuff all over the place with Mr. Feather Locklear.

Not something I want to be doing when all of our kennels were destroyed after the last storm.
We still haven’t had a chance to tear down, rebuild and replace the ones for the dogs here.
But this girl has been frantically looking for her family since Beryl made her way through Huntsville.
So, now I am going to have to run buy a couple of kennels, a doghouse, bed and all that comes with a new intake. (Remember we do not have help with dogs)
We are headed to the vet to get a check up vaccinations and please pray with me this girl is not pregnant or have heartworms.
So, I can schedule her a spay which will be challenging for me right now. If you know anyone that would be possibly interested in adopting a sweet girl or a dog rescue that could possibly help find her a new home please let me know.
If there is someone willing to volunteer to keep her for a week while she recovers from her spay would be awesome too.

Although we have closed our intake due to property damage from all this nasty Texas weather.
We just so happen to have a set up for this little one so we were able to help this time easily.
The cost of the damages this time may cause us to close intake permanently. 😢
(All Sanctuary residents are safe and dry.
We will have to rebuild fencing, housing, pens, dog runs & coops. Trees have fallen and trees need to come down, we need quite a bit of ground work done lots of unsafe washouts all around. This is just the stuff not covered by insurance so it will cost quite a bit just to get our residents fixed up so we are better prepared if this ever happens again.
This is the worst flooding we have ever seen here and was so unexpected. 😢🙏🏻
