In 1998 Dr. Eric Hulsey took ownership of the practice, keeping the name out of respect for Dr. Bentley and the community. In 2001 we moved operations to our current location, to better serve our clientele and to provide a more modern standard of care for our patients. Dr. Stacey Matthews and Dr. Katie Temmen began prac

ticing with us in 2016. Together, our doctors lead a staff with over 200 years of combined experience in animal care. We provide on site diagnostic tools, a well equipped surgical facility, and a spacious lobby so that your visit is quick and comfortable. It is our continuing goal to provide the best service to our clients and the best care to our patients.

Bentley Animal Hospital will be closed this upcoming Saturday, August 31 and Monday, September 2 for the Labor Day weekend.

As usual, our kennel staff will continue to provide care for our boarding guests.

Edited to add: Although the phones are still down, we have forwarded our calls to our clinic cell phone. While this is a huge help, it is only ONE line, and this makes it very difficult to field multiple calls at once. We will do our very best to answer as many calls and voicemails as possible. Again, thanks for your understanding.

Bentley Animal Hospital is very excited to help Dr. Temmen welcome her second child in October!

As the due date approaches, Dr. Temmen’s schedule will be limited beginning Monday, September 16th.
Unless Baby Temmen arrives early, the official start of her maternity leave is Monday, October 7th.
During her maternity leave, Dr. Hulsey and Dr. Matthews will work hard to try to accommodate our more limited schedule. As such, Bentley Animal Hospital will be closed the following Saturdays:

November 23
December 7
December 28

Even though Dr Matthews is in Iceland, she still celebrated Merlyn’s 33rd birthday….all the way from 35m below in a glacial cave.

Certain types of handling makes Lilly uncomfortable, so Lilly’s owner used positive reinforcement to acclimate Lilly to wearing a basket muzzle. This way, the veterinary staff is safe just in case Lilly is uncomfortable enough to attempt a bite. Lilly’s favorite part is putting her muzzle on herself!
