Last few animals of the year looking for new pasture! We will have more milkers/doeling, and minimal breeding buck/bucklings beginning of 2025!

She is a long yearling FF currently drying up/almost dry after feeding her single May born buckling. She was an excellent mamma/dam raiser but was lighter on the milk production. She came through with amazing udder attachment and I would think she would be even better on her next freshening, I just have too many of her direct relatives! I have milked this pretty doe a few times early on in her production and each time was a breeze. She is partly milk stand trained and not terribly food motivated. She doesn't care for my milkers mix of grain but she is an EASY keeper. She is keeping good body condition on mixed grass/alfalfa hay and minimal pasture. Lions Heart Tempi

Please note Tempi has a mild under bite that doesn't affect her ability to graze or eat. She is also a slower maturer because of her lines and due to being the runt of quads. Picture of her dam's FF udder included Full Moon Rising (Her dam is now a 2F just can't find the pictures at the moment)

Mature Nubian buck born in 2020
This well mannered boy is halter and collar trained, can stand tied and stands well for hoof trims and any dosing/deworming. He is grain trained as well and highly food motivated because we lock all our bucks up separate at night. His last weight he was just shy of 200 #. He has multiple daughters on the ground that are now FF some I have pictures and some are on farm that can be looked at. I also have his 2022 and 2024 sons to show how well his conformation passes on. He is a little more aggressive breeder so we don't recommend him for any first time smaller doe but he does just fine with mature already been bred before doe. He gets along good with other mature buck. This guy has some great genetics behind him and would work well in most any herd.

Is anyone interested in cayuga ducks?
I am getting a few nice dark eggs a week and will try hatching if anyone is interested. I’m also going to try another hatch in Aug of chickens. So if you are interested in olive egger chicks let me know in the next couple weeks.

Lamancha (sire) x Nubian (dam) Doeling
Born 1/ 23/24. Disbudded. Not vaccinated. She has very good milk lines on both parents. Both parents are easy keepers. Doeling is used to free range foraging for food as well as hay. She is dam raised and friendly. Used to dogs and chickens too.
Udder pics are of mom's udder as FF while kid sharing and nursing twins, and sire's mom's udder. Located south of Mt Grove/Norwood area.

Milkers and doelings looking for new pastures!
Heavens Blue Line Calla Lily
50% American ADGA Nubian doe 2F, 4yr old. She is an easy keeper requiring low input and low maintenance. As a FF in 2022 she was producing around 4 # (1/2gal) on milk share raising 2 kids (had quads but 2 were pulled to go to a 4H home).
She freshened back in December of 23 and peaked at 6 # (shy of 3/4gallon) and is currently producing 3 # on 1x per day milking. If you are looking for a milker that will keep you in milk supply without giving you more than you know what to do with, this is your girl. Another long yearling FF who came in with a very compact udder I suspect it will be even lovelier in future freshenings. Currently dam raising on milk share but her doeling can be pulled any time to bottle feeding. I have only been getting 1 # off her to stanchion train and because her doeling is a pig! Someone NEEDS this little lamb (and his brother) as a fiber pet or ram buddy! We will be wethering him.
He is the sweetest little thing and JUST like his daddy. Its too bad he isn’t growing horns like his daddy’s and has more scur like horns instead.
He’ll have lovely fine fleece for hand spinning though!

Our first foal that we didn’t actually know we were having until about a month ago (long story about what we thought was lack of breeding and we’d decided to try next year!) Phlirt’s PB and Jay (Yoda) is the daddy!

Cute babies in the morning. The white one is the little girl. These were the last 2 born this season. Just 10 days old. This just doesn’t get old, watching them popcorn around. The big group of lambs was also but they were too far away for me to get a video.
Baby races tonight. Got the end of it. But we were able to keep the 17 older babies out so mom’s could eat their grain in peace.
Farm life. Training Eddie on how to milk a goat. This was his second time.
4 fleeces drying! Kilee and I are anxious to begin working with this wool. We have 5 more fleeces to wash and dry. Then we have 10 fleeces to spin into yarn!! I suspect next year we will have fleeces to sell. 😁
