Hey all. I'm having to make a decision that I've not had to make in over 30 years in taxidermy. As of right now, I'm NOT taking any animals in for mounting, unless I have made prior arrangements and you are storing them. The amount of work ahead of me is causing long wait times and I simply want to try and get turn around times back too normal as I can. As of now, it might be possible that I can take on a few more projects late summer at best. Thanks, Chris.

Hey folks, I have a few minutes to update y'all. I have been dealing with gout for about a week now and still not fully over it. I'm planning on being back to mounting deer this week and have several mounts almost ready for pick up. As of right now I'm not taking any animals without arrangements made beforehand as I've had a freezer quit and now, am full again. I'll be contacting you as soon as your mounts are ready. Should be finishing up season before last deer in a few weeks. Appreciate all, Chris.

Good morning all. I have been covered up with calls and texts lately about mounts. YES ! I am overwhelmed with work, NO, I am not really behind. I have recieved many voice messages , and that's fine, but I cannot seem to get some to answer a call back or text. My phone, unless you have me saved as a contact usually shows BEREA KY. I am aware that some are beyond a year now and I am trying to shorten turn around times but with supply problems, shipping times and such it is impossible. 2024 EUROPEAN MOUNTS, its freezing cold and we cannot get those done until a little warmer weather, patience please !! I am close to wrapping up the remaing deer from season b4 last but unfortunately after these I will be transitioning to cats, foxes, bear and waterfowl to finish up the 2023 season. Guys, I ask for your patience and please answer your phones. I try to get back to everyone BUT it's impossible sometimes, We do forget time to time. I am very busy and cannot spend the majority of my time defending myself and explaining why not on the phone or texting. I do promise this, when I get your mounts ready, I will call and text that they are ready for pick up, again my phone does shows BEREA KY often. I don't want to extend your car warranty, sell you a window just get your mounts back to you asap. God bless all, Chris.

Merry Christmas to our friends and customers, I appreciate you guys more than you know. God bless you and your families always. We are closed today but will be back in tomorrow. I am running a little behind on finish work as the holidays delayed shipping and there are yet backordered products. I'll be reaching out to those waiting on deer soon, chris.

Hey folks, some Tuesday FYI. I am implementing a text notification for customers as to when your animals have been mounted as well, completion and pick up can be expected. When I find some free time I hope to also add a spreadsheet that I can update as to where you're at in line and approx wait times. I am not certain as of now how this will work but keep an eye out here for more info. Pls feel free to share this post as others might be able to be informed. Thanks, Chris.

Friday, December 6th shop update. I have a mountain of mannikins in, and I am mounting deer daily, excluding weekends. These should wrap up last seasons deer and I'm hoping by February I will be transitioning to the remaining animals from the 2023 season, bobcats, foxes, moose, bear and so on. I am completely overwhelmed with work and suppose I should thank all for trusting me with your trophies. Hang in there with me folks I'm one man with a 3 person workload and neglecting my personal life and even my family at times to get your mounts finished up in a timely manner. Sunday evening update for the shop. This evening being the last of modern rifle season, and we are yet caping deer for mounting. I'm tired, aching and sleepy but I love doing what I do. I am again blessed with much work, and my success is impossible without you guys and gals allowing me the opportunity to preserve your hunting memories. Too simply say I appreciate you would be an understatement. That said starting tomorrow I will be getting organized that work may start on the remaining animals from last season. I will be a couple months yet but am working long hours and nearly 7 days a week. Please guys, be patient with me, I am but one man with a 3 man workload. I won't be taking any frozen deer until Wednesday as of right now. Thanks all, chris.

Folks this is the first time in over 30 years I have yet got mounts to do from last season. I haven't forgotten anyone and will get them wrapped up asap .I am again looking at possibly a one year or better turn around on some mounts, especially if you are coming now. I understand that long wait times are frustrating but rest assured I am going as fast as I can to get you a mount back to be proud of.i appreciate you all, your patience and understanding. Chris
