I’m always teaching Frank something new. This was a service task we learned in school. I’ve been working on is with Frank off and on for a few months. We hadn’t done it in at least a month. I practiced with him 3 times and then my oldest commanded it. She had never worked with him on it so I was so excited when he did it! Training your dog should be fun!

Everyone meet Willow! This sweet pup started her training the other day. She just needs help with kennel training and some basics. I can’t wait to see her progress!! She is a very smart pup.

When I say I will customize your training plan, I mean it! Nova’s momma was going crazy with all the water mess. Nova’s obedience was coming along so I suggested we could teach her to wipe. They were so excited for this command! It’s still not perfect but it’s coming along. The end goal for this command would be for her to wipe after every drink without being commanded.

Lucy! Her training is coming along so nicely. At her last lesson we introduced once of my favorite commands- porch! It is basically a giant place command. I got a message from Lucy’s momma that the training is going well. She was able to stay on the porch while her momma checked the mail and moved both trash cans back to the house! This is a big win!

Ernie and Cecil had their last lesson with me! They graduated from my training program with having some strong obedience skills. Their skills are on an intermediate level. They were comfortable doing a sit and down for a few minutes, in public, with people walking by and loud noises! I am so proud of the hard work their momma and dad put in with them.

Remember, dogs tire more from mental stimulation than physical exercise. A tired dog is a happy dog!

Everyone meet Harley! This sweet pup started his training a couple weeks ago. His momma is a previous client (Apollo’s mom!) but she wanted to do some refresher puppy training. He is a shop dog and gets to go to work with his momma everyday. She wanted to be sure that his obedience and manners would be top notch since he would get to meet so many people. I can’t wait to see his progress!

Cecil and Ernie! These boys are stubborn but have learned so much! Their home obedience is great. They are ready to start working out and about! At one of our last lessons, we generalized place. These boys like to hang out with their dad in his shop. Sometimes they can be a little crazy. Giving them a place to calm down will be so helpful for them and their dad.

Also, look at their cute faces! 😍

Everyone meet Mr Bear! He is a 1 year old doodle that joined his family in October. He has no previous training and spent most of his time in a kennel. His new family wants him to be obedient and have home manners so they started training at the beginning of the year. He is already learning so much! I can’t wait to see his progress!

Everyone meet Lucy! This little doodle pup is supposed to be a mini but is already getting so big. We started her obedience a couple weeks ago so she can be the best girl once she’s full grown. I can’t wait to see her progress!

Everyone meet Nova! This sweet girl is a cane corso just like Frank. She is so smart! We started her obedience training a couple weeks ago and she is advancing so quickly! Her owners are so dedicated with their training. They want her to be the best she can be!

Everyone meet Ernie and Cecil! These boys are brothers and are 1 year old. They are fairly well behaved but their parents want them to be the bestest boys they can be at home and out and about. We will work on obedience and home manners; as well as, training out in public! They are smart boys but stubborn at times. I can’t wait to see their progress!
