Frank got neutered today. “Big” sister folded up the dog blanket so he could get comfortable. He went in his kennel on his own. It is his safe space and the tiny humans in our house know when he goes in there to leave him alone.

Zoey! This sweet pup is working on her obedience and home manners. We are also working on her listening and following commands when she is excited. She is a good pup and is full of energy!

Sometimes you just need to take a break to roll in the grass!

I got to work with Delilah this morning! She is a 2-3 year old pit mix that is available for adoption through Redemption Animal Rescue! She is very sweet but gets very excited to see new people. She barks and jumps so we are building her obedience. We worked out and about today. She was more distracted so we worked on her focus. We worked around people and she didn’t bark once!

Poppy! This sweet doodle puppy’s obedience and home manners is coming along nicely. They have been working on sit, place, leave it, wait and down. I have loved seeing her progress!

Willow went on a field trip for her last lesson. We went to the park! She went on place, did her downs and came when called. She did bark some but she quieted down when she went on place. She has made great progress!

Everyone meet Hunter! Hunter is learning how to be a service dog for his new owners. He actually is the brother to my past client Millie. He went to another trainer to get his obedience done and now we are working on specific service tasks. He is a good boy and loves his owners! I can’t wait to see his progress!

Got a phone call this morning from one of my clients. They need to rehome their puppy. She is a purebred corgi. Her name is Sophia. She is 6-7 months old.

I’m always teaching Frank something new. This was a service task we learned in school. I’ve been working on is with Frank off and on for a few months. We hadn’t done it in at least a month. I practiced with him 3 times and then my oldest commanded it. She had never worked with him on it so I was so excited when he did it! Training your dog should be fun!

Everyone meet Willow! This sweet pup started her training the other day. She just needs help with kennel training and some basics. I can’t wait to see her progress!! She is a very smart pup.

When I say I will customize your training plan, I mean it! Nova’s momma was going crazy with all the water mess. Nova’s obedience was coming along so I suggested we could teach her to wipe. They were so excited for this command! It’s still not perfect but it’s coming along. The end goal for this command would be for her to wipe after every drink without being commanded.

Lucy! Her training is coming along so nicely. At her last lesson we introduced once of my favorite commands- porch! It is basically a giant place command. I got a message from Lucy’s momma that the training is going well. She was able to stay on the porch while her momma checked the mail and moved both trash cans back to the house! This is a big win!
