Hi my name is Harlow ❤️

As I approach my one-year milestone at the shelter, I'm grateful for the caring humans who provide for me, keep my space tidy, and spoil me with treats. While I cherish my daily time outside my kennel, my deepest desire is to be with YOU! If I sometimes come across as moody, it's just boredom speaking - I long to belong to a loving and quiet home, Where I can be the only cat.

We are open today 5-7pm, Thursday 5-7pm and Saturday 1-5pm.

We have PUPPIES.
Wiggly, happy, kissy, jumpy, adorable PUPPIES ❤️❤️❤️
These three are about 4 months old.
They are 100% mix breed.
They will be a medium size, probably 45-55lbs at full size.
They are available for adoption starting tomorrow! 2 girls, 1 boy. They are fully vetted and ready to learn all about life as a well-loved family member.

We would like to present Olaf, a remarkable cat exhibiting 100% purr-factor. Approximately 10 years old, Olaf is distinguished by his friendly, affectionate, playful, agile, and healthy characteristics, complemented by his love of cuddles and penchant for giving kisses.

He is the whole cat-package and a must-meet!

We Need Volunteers to Help Distribute Compost Bags Next Week.
As you can see, our team is hard at work. The increase in animal care needs throughout the area, this time of year, puts a strain on our resources. This distribution will gain us some funds to help with those efforts.

Update on the abandoned six.
After 2 baths, twice daily antibiotics, twice daily eye medication and some warm bedding, they have made a great turn around. They are enjoying a little more freedom in their foster home and LOVING all the fun toys! They are a messy crew, are eating and drinking lots, and what goes in must come out 💩 ...lots. They'll continue medication for several days yet to ensure they kick the crud. A couple are being closely monitored for possible minor injuries, but all in all, they are troopers!

💔 Today, our rummage sale team found kittens....
Our rummage sale team was distraught to find kittens, locked in a carrier without food, without their mom, in a cold shed that humans are only in once a week. Dirty, sick, near death kittens....why did you leave them there!?
Watching our camera footage, we learned these helpless babies were left Monday evening at 7:30pm. More than 36 hours prior to being found. Our hearts are absolutely shattered at the thought of what one more night would have lead to.
Our medical team was on site today to get them cleaned up. They were all covered in their own excrement, fleas and each one was hypothermic. Our medical team worked quickly to clean them up, get some nutrition in their bellies and get them warmed.
Tonight, they are safe in foster care. Safe, and warm, and fed, and promised to be loved forever.
What we learned today, while sending them with their foster, is that we need help. We need help to cover their added expenses. We need help with food. Our supply of kitten wet food is quickly dwindling and we need help to build it back up. We need help with litter, because 6 sick, wormy babies use a lot. And we need help financially, to cover the cost of meds....Six babies on oral meds, eye meds, flea treatment and dewormer.
