After our oldest son turned a year old, we realized that Taco, our 7-lb chiweenie, wasn't receiving the same amount of play time with other dogs as he had before we had a child. We quickly realized that dog sitting was just as emotionally rewarding for us as it was for him. Since we accept your dog(s) into our home, they are integrated into our family environment: sleeping in bed with us if they w

ant, playing with us during the day, and napping wherever they're comfortable while I get chores done, JUST like your home. I'm a stay-at-home mom so you can be assured that your pup is part of a pack that includes humans! Our pricing is competitive. As this is just as much a loving bonding experience for my family as it is a business, we keep our costs comparable to local commercial dog boarding businesses. We've watched her dog, Hank, for around 5 years. He is the most gentle dog and Emily is a phenomenal owner. I would absolutely leave Taco with her in a heartbeat.

MISSING BEARDED DRAGON
Her name is Skittles and she's approx. 10 inches long tip to tail. Very friendly. When she's happy or warm she's peach in color, otherwise she might be a dark brown color. With the power out we've been taking her outside to get her necessary sun and this afternoon something must have spooked her and she took off. Last seen on Preston Drive in Huxley around 3pm, 8/15. Please call/text Steph at 515-802-8304 or Daniel at 515-802-8303 if found. She loves cuddling people and will remain still around pets rather than get aggressive. Please let us know if you find her!

One of the most rewarding parts of dog watching is when pups from different homes befriend each other in our home. We get a good feel for dogs' personalities and won't watch dogs from other homes simultaneously if we think they wouldn't get along. When they meet, they're usually even better than expected and we get some sweet photos (and friendships!) like these. 😍

It's REALLY heating up out there!🌡️ Remember to keep a bowl of water in a shaded area when your pup plays outside so they're always hydrated. Their paw pads can get burnt from hot asphalt so use Musher's Secret/Paw Butter and try to schedule walks in the early mornings or evenings. Keep our favorite fur buddies cool!

We were scheduled to watch one of our favorite pups over Spring Break. Owners had to change their plans (not a problem, it happens) and said they'd let us know when they have new dates for us. They said if their new dates won't work for us, they'd plan their vacation around us because they'll only keep their pup with us. 😍 I love everything about this job.

Thanksgiving is almost here! Just a reminder that a lot of ingredients typically found in traditional Thanksgiving dishes are poisonous to dogs and should NOT be served to them or placed within their reach.

Do not serve them:
-Raisins
-Onions
-Garlic
-Turkey bones
-Sugar

Every year we pan sear the turkey's gizzards for Taco and guest dogs. It's a healthy treat that our dogs love!

Treat time!

I'm walking down the hallway when I hear squeaking. What in the world is that noise coming from? I go back to the living room and see the boys, Daisy, Taco...so that sound is coming from Buck, who, it turns out, took a squeaker into another room so he could squeak in peace! He cracks me up! (Ignore the laundry mess.)

Buck and Daisy are here! I always think Taco tries to be bigger than he is when he's around them. These three crack me up!

Bwahahaha! When we go out in the backyard, we make quite the circus!

We had three guest dogs this weekend! Not one to be left out, our toddler immediately joined the pack.
