UPDATE: REUNITED!! Peach Pie is home safe & sound after 5 days, 19 hours :)

"Thank you everyone! Peach is back home!! I appreciate all the kindness, help, and communication! I was abble to successfully trap Peach in the wooded area behind my house after not seeing her for over a week!

I used a trail camera to keep an eye out for her and I believe that the scent items (clothes, blankets, smelly food) I put out are what led her home in the end.

I've included a picture of her chowing down shortly after making it back."

Message from Owner: Peach is an indoor cat and is likely
very shy. She got out a window on 3/13. She was hanging out near the hse but hiding from everyone until the storm on 3/18 and hasn't been seen since.

Please contact if seen - do not chase

Description: Brown tabby with white spots on chest and stomach. Peach/orangish colored splotches through her fur. Green eyes. A little chunky. Grey flea collar on her neck.

To my fellow cat people: Beware of these automatic litterboxes!

For those who choose not to watch d/t content: there is a flood of poorly designed automatic cat boxes on the market. Mostly found on amazon/Ali express/ temp etc. Anything that has a closed top and closes on a Y-axis is potentially dangerous. Do not trust amazon etc reviews. Find well known products from known brands and beware of fake products.

NO cat under a certain weight should be using these boxes either. Heed all warnings and firmware updates.

If you find newborn kittens , watch them from afar, to see if mom comes back. Please do not pick them up and put them in a box. This is kitten season and the best way to take care of newborn kittens is to let the mom do it. We're only 2 months into kitten season and already The majority of rescues are full across the country. Believe it or not, this is the 5th request for bottle feeders this week. That's right. It's only Monday.
