Thank-you to the 46 teams that came out to ride the Locust Hill Spring Schooling Pace. It was a beautiful day to be out in the country. The results will be posted in a link above.
Congratulations to the top 10 ribbon winning teams and the top 2 winners of Day Passes to Carlette Farm this season.
Our biggest thanks go to the volunteers who make this event possible. Thank you for giving up a good part of your day to help others enjoy a fun and safe day riding in the country.

We have come to the very hard decision to cancel the Locust Hill Fall Hunter Pace for this Sunday 11/5/23.
We really tried to make it happen and held out hope until the last. For the last couple of weeks, the footing would improve and then we would get more rain. We marked and cleared the course, moved jumps and arranged for volunteers, food and support. In the end the footing is just too slick to accommodate 130+ horses safely.
All entry fees will be refunded. For those few who sent checks, the checks will be destroyed.
Thank you for going through the registration process. We hope to see you in the Spring on June 1, 2024, and next Fall on Nov. 3, 2024!

Hello everyone! My name is Heather Gillette, owner of Carlette Farm, where Lynnette Benner cares for all of the horses for both our farm and her own retired horse boarding business, Oberon Stables. I see firsthand, every day, the love and care that Lynnette gives each and every horse - caring for these beautiful animals is her passion.

Last week she broke her right femur, and is unable to tend to the horses herself until her leg heals. She has hired interim helpers to tend to all of the horses she cares for, but needs financial support to keep these people in place while she heals. Her recovery time will be months. Please help support Lynnette, her business and well being, and the lovely retired horses she has devoted her life too!
