UPDATE: We are happy to report that this fiesty boy has been returned to his owners. They came by & picked him up this morning. His family has missed him very much & the youngest members of the home are so happy to have him home.

FOUND CAT:

This boy was brought in by a lady up Rockhouse. She said he had been at her house for about 2 months. Does anyone know who he might belong too? He has been taken well care of. It’s possible he was an inside cat at some point.

This dog was found up on Leeco Rd yesterday. Does anyone know who he belongs too? We have named him Russell.

MISSING DOG ALERT:
This sweet guy is named Hank. He went missing yesterday around Bowling Market up Middlefork. He has a bright orange collar on. He went missing about noon. Hank belongs to Brooklyn Sandlin. If you've seen him please contact us or contact her via Facebook.

This sweet dog is missing from the Helton area. He has a young owner who is missing him very much.

For adoption or rescue. These 2 boys are Ares & Perseus. They are roughly about 4-5 months old. Sometimes it's easier to get pictures together of these two. They are full of puppy energy but have plenty of puppy kisses to give.

Who Will Let the Dogs Out?

The leaves are changing & fall is coming. This time of the year brings special visitors. Thursday Oct 15th the shelter had some special visitors. The national group Who Will Let the Dogs Out? visited our little shelter. We were so excited for this visit. They have offered suggestions to help us help you. They loved our murals, and how our community is supporting us. We encourage you to read our story. If you've visited the shelter or looked through our pictures you may see a familiar face.

MISSING DOG ALERT:
This sweet girl went missing Wednesday afternoon when she went missing getting her humans off the school bus up. She is 8 months old and a very gentle girl. She is a German Shepherd. She belongs to Margie Hobbs. If you have seen her please contact her at
606-670-4938. Her family has been looking everywhere for her. She went missing from Warbranch.

We have gotten posts about missing dogs. We have bad weather happening & more coming in please be on the lookout for these missing pets. Please keep a close eye on your own as this weather comes in. If you have kennels outside please secure them to the ground somehow or bring them somewhere where they will be safe without maybe getting hurt by a kennel overturning.

Stay safe during this bad weather coming up be prepared to move your animals if we get flash flooding.

UPDATE: Zeus is home but they are still looking for Buddy.

MISSING DOG ALERT:

These two sweet boys went missing yesterday at 6:30 am. The owner is offering a $50 reward for their return or information leading to their return. The black & brown dog is named Zeus & thr brown one is named Buddy. Buddy has a cat sibling that is missing him.
