Texas-based microchip and registration company Save This Life was listed as inactive Tuesday. This is not the company our clinic uses. However, if pet owners have a microchip linked to Save This Life, they can have their veterinarians scan for the chip number, and reregister it with any of AAHA's member organizations. Various microchip companies have free registration or are offering affected owners discounts.

It is extremely important to vaccinate your pets. The vaccine is relatively inexpensive where treating parvo is not. We do have a monoclonal antibody treatment specifically for parvo that increases survival ratings from 40% with traditional treatment to 95% with the monoclonal antibody treatment. Vaccinate at 6, 10, 14 weeks and each year following the last vaccination. Keep your pets safe and healthy!

This beautiful cat was found at a cabin in Broken Bow by a couple on vacation. Please contact the clinic at 580-286-3385 if you are missing your pet. If you can give certain information to confirm ownership, we can put you in touch with the rescuers.
