72 DAYS AND COUNTING! KRATOS HAS BEEN TRYING TO FIND A FURRREVER HOME FOR FAR TOO LONG Our lovely volunteers took Kratos out to play in the snow today and they all had a wonderful time. Kratos new found love for snow balls is very charming and put a smile on our faces. Unfortunately Kratos was surrendered to us back in October and has been waiting to find his new home ever since. He tends to be misunderstood here at the shelter due to his vocal and energetic nature. However Kratos is a great dog who has done well with other dogs. Kratos would do great in a home environment, and we are hopeful someone will bring him home soon. If you are willing to give this sweet pup a second chance please let us know.

****Attention***** We are in search of more dog beds for the Idaho Falls Animal Shelter. Specifically, "Kuranda Dog Beds". They are a lot more durable than your average dog bed, easy to clean if a dog has an accident on them and last a lot longer. We intake hundreds of dogs each year and some of the beds have decommissioned due to all the dogs they have seen. Whether you are able to bring the bed directly to the shelter or ship directly to us the dogs will enjoy them. We are not picky on any of the colors but would prefer the larger beds. Kitten chaos Sunday! They needed a little time to play 🤣

Meet Cheese McSteezy! She currently is our longest resident for adoption. Cheese came in bad shape as a stray with a broken leg. She is now all healed up and ready to go to her furever home. She does great with dogs and children.

SOS! We need some help! We have a guinea pig that is going to be staying with us for an extended amount of time and we are in desperate need of some items to help keep her comfortable! Update: BOTH were adopted! Edith has been with us for a whole whopping 28 days. Furnado has been with us for a combined 23 days. Both are adult kitties in need of a forever home (not together)....They only tolerate each other during play time. Please come in and meet them and see if they are a good fit! Both of their adoption fees have been reduced to $15 to help them find a home!

Roo & Boo found their furever home today! The new owners have been able to give us a sneak peek of these playful kitties new lives. We are so happy for them and we wish these two and their new owners the best. Good luck little ones, we miss you already!

YOU GUYS!!! We had some really cool donations given to our kitties! Look at these little cliffhangers enjoying play time! Our kitties are over the moon! THANK YOU for all you do to help keep the shelter critters happy and healthy!! We cannot stop smiling! We love seeing our kitties out and about and able to play, especially when it is too hot for them to be in the catio outside!
