Update: BOTH were adopted!
Edith has been with us for a whole whopping 28 days. Furnado has been with us for a combined 23 days.
Both are adult kitties in need of a forever home (not together)....They only tolerate each other during play time.
Please come in and meet them and see if they are a good fit! Both of their adoption fees have been reduced to $15 to help them find a home!
Roo & Boo found their furever home today! The new owners have been able to give us a sneak peek of these playful kitties new lives. We are so happy for them and we wish these two and their new owners the best. Good luck little ones, we miss you already!
YOU GUYS!!!
We had some really cool donations given to our kitties! Look at these little cliffhangers enjoying play time!
Our kitties are over the moon! THANK YOU for all you do to help keep the shelter critters happy and healthy!! We cannot stop smiling!
We love seeing our kitties out and about and able to play, especially when it is too hot for them to be in the catio outside!
Furnado is just popping in to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to whoever purchased the Bento Flakes (Fish Flakes) off of his Amazon wishlist!
He is absolutely in love with them! He would also like everyone to know that he is still available for adoption!
Come in and meet Furnado today!
"I wanted to give a huge shout out to each and every one of you that purchases items off of the animal shelters wish list.
This motorized cat toy is absolutely PURRRRFECT!! I have been having a MEOW-RRIFIC time with it!
I would also like you to know that I am available for adoption. I am really hoping that you will come meet me!"
Sincerely,
Edith š¾
Shout out to B&S Hobbies the dogs love the truck! This tool has really helped our pups burn energy & keep them happy and healthy while they wait for their forever homes!!
Colt is here to show everyone his favorite blankie! Colt is our longest resident, and he would love to bring his blankie over to your house for a slumber party!
This dog (large dog in video) was brought to us but unfortunately, he is from Jefferson County and that is outside of our legal jurisdiction. We had to turn him away.
He was found at Sage Junction and that is no place for a dog to be.
PLEASE HELP his finders out! He is the nicest, most well-behaved boy! He is polite, he is seemingly dog friendly and didn't try to eat our resident cat, Nigel, or Boba the puppy.
He knows sit, down, shake and seems to be very attentive. We cannot keep him here but we want to help in the only way we can and that is social media!
If you can help, please contact his finder Josh @ 208-520-9743
Bonnieā¤ļø
Our sweet snow bunny Bonnie would like everyone to know that she is the animal shelters LONGEST RESIDENT. She has now been here for 30 whole whopping days!! To her, that is like a lifetime.
All she truly wants is a home to call her ownā¦.a human to snuggleā¦.snow to frolic inā¦..toys to play with..we donāt think itās too much for her to ask, do you?
Bonnie is a spayed female 5 year old Husky mix. Bonnie is good with cats, dogs and kids!
She is the pet of the week so her adoption is sponsored!
Do you have it in your heart to come fall in love with her? She is certainly hoping so.
Snowy pup date
You may not be loving the snow but we promise you that our sweet puppers are! Many of our residents got to cycle through playing outside and they all loved it! Videoed here is Bonnie, Balto, Rio, and Buck!
The Idaho Falls Animal Shelters only kitten and she still hasn't been adopted yet. Heidi is a 4-month-old, domestic longhair, she's fixed and ready for her forever home! Heidi has been around cats and puppies. Shes working on making the best muffins in the world. If you're interested in Heidi, come by and say hello!!
Willow and Waylon

Felix
Felix boy....
You have now been in our care for 56 long and daunting days. Felix promises that he really is a good boy. His kennel frustration is increasing day by day though, and Felix's mental health is deteriorating.
Felix is great with other dogs but he can be very vocal with them when he first meets them. It can be intimidating if you don't know Felix but we promise it is just how he communicates. He has done best with hyper neutered male and female dogs. Currently we are not sure how he is with cats.
Felix aims to please and just hearing you tell him he is a good boy lights up his face, as you can see in the video.
If you have met our doof of a boy here at the shelter you may have been scared of him because of his kennel frustration. Once he gets out of his kennel he is the bestest boy.
Please give him a chance and come meet him, you won't regret it we promise.
See the pictures of our baby boy in the comments!
Boone and Felix had a play date in the back yard! They both absolutely loved it! They are both available for adoption! Felix is our longest resident and has been with us for 51 days now. Boone has been with us for 25.
Come on in and meet one of them, they are pretty great!
Somebody come hold her, she is crying like a baby!
Tresa was brought in on the 20th and it was quickly apparent that this little girl was in pain.
Radiographs revealed that she needed to have her little leg amputated due to a very severe break. Radiographs also showed a broken jaw.
The good news.... her jaw will heal without intervention. Her amputation went incredibly well and she will make a speedy recovery!
The best news... Tresa is ready for adoption! Tresa cannot be an outside cat, having three legs legs complicates her ability to flee bad situations. Living indoors, Thresa will jump, climb and thrive in due time!
In the meantime, Thresa is feeling very insecure and all she wants to do is tuck herself into your arms, be loved, and maybe be consoled just a yittle.
If you think you have the space and time for a perfect little three-legged kitten, we know one who would really love to meet you. Please come in to meet her, she's just the best!
If you would like to donate, please do so!
You make it all possible!
You can text IFAS to 89871
You can call us to make an over-the-phone donation @ 208-612-8670
You can mail us at Idaho Falls Animal Services, 2450 Hemmert Ave, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83401

Unfortunately, we do not have Venmo but the text link is so convenient for everyone who uses it, we promise!
Felix and Mater
Felix and Mater had an outdoor play date with each other yesterday! They both absolutely loved it and they are both still at our shelter looking for their forever homes!
Feliz Navidad Felix!
This handsome playful boy is Felix. He is a very sweet boy who came through our doors as a stray 30 days ago. Now his one Christmas wish is to have a home of his own. A couch to lay on. A bed to sleep on. Humans to play with. You know all the good things a dog dreams about.
Felix is a 3-year-old neutered male American Pitbull mix. When he first came to us he was extremely terrified and it was hard to get him out of his kennel. Now this sweet boy is up and ready to go with you the second you open his kennel. He has come out of his little shell and is ready for his next adventure!
Come on in and meet him!
