ARF Animal Rescue Friends of Idyllwild CA

ARF Animal Rescue Friends of Idyllwild CA ARF is a non-profit 501(c)3 volunteer rescue for lost, abandoned, injured or unwanted pets. Welcome to ARF, the little rescue with the big heart.

We are located in the mountain village of Idyllwild, CA where we have been serving the community since 1994. An all-volunteer, grassroots, non-profit organization, ARF’s mission is to rescue animals that have been abandoned, lost, or whose owners are no longer able to care for them. We provide foster care until forever homes are located. All our animals are spay/neutered, receive necessary shots a

nd other veterinary care as needed. Each year, relying only on the generosity of donors and small grants, ARF helps an increasing number of dogs and cats, turning sad stories into happy tails. ARF has always worked to educate our population about the importance of responsible pet ownership, including the need for spay/neuter and heartworm disease prevention. WE ARE OPEN ON THE WEEKENDS but we also will meet individuals M-F by appointment. Please call and leave a message.
