Everyone say hello to Princess, our newest medical case. This sweet girl was brought into the @sdhumanesociety by her owner after she fell from an 8th floor balcony. She fractured both upper and lower jaw, broken teeth, a hole in the soft palate and a broken leg. SDHS was able to stabilize her and repair her leg and the hole in her soft palate. We have to wait for her jaw to heal before the broken teeth can be removed and she will need weekly cast changes and the pins to be removed from her leg once it has healed. Princess isn't even a year old so we expect her to make a full recovery. If you would like to donate to her continued care, here are the links for Venmo and PayPal. Cleo has officially stayed with us the longest. She was a teen mom when she came into our care with her babies who have all been adopted. Cleo struggles to show just how amazing she is at very stressful and loud adoption events; she really hasn’t had a chance to find her furever home. Cleo does fantastic with extremely loving, energetic, and hands-on kiddos. She prefers tiny humans to other kitties and doggos. Holly LOVES to play with dogs of all sizes! 🐶Please SHARE to help find Holly her forever home🐶 Holly is a medium sized, “heinz 57” mix dog of only 1-2 years old weighing only around 25 lbs and she is a doll! A lot of people think she is quite large, but its really just the way her pictures look. She is actually quite short and petite, but overall the perfect size! 🐾 Holly is being fostered with dogs of all ages and sizes, along with horses and cats too. We’d love to find her a home with another dog(s) and/or where she can be socialized frequently as she really loves to play and be apart of the pack. Holly has a medium energy level. She enjoys her walks and exercise, but she is not super high energy at all and she settles nicely after exercise. She also loves to snuggle! 🥰 Despite being dumped pregnant last December and losing all of her babies, Holly is the happiest pup you’ll ever meet. She will melt your heart with those sweet eyes, constant smile, and loving disposition. Holly knows no stranger and greets every human like a long lost friend💜Her foster mom is also teaching her all the doggie basics like leash walking, manners, etc. and taking her on hikes, car rides, and other adventures. Today, we made the heartbreaking decision to let Soggy Ramen peacefully cross the rainbow bridge. Our amazing trapper, Magda, dropped everything to get him in our care as soon as she learned of his condition. It was unfortunately too late, Soggy Ramen was so underweight and sick. We tried everything we could to give him a chance. Unfortunately, it was just too late 😔🤍 we’ll meet again, Soggy Ramen.
