We are getting our driveway done but we are at the mercy of this weather!!
If you are boarding over the next 7 days and pull up to notice yellow tape blocking the drive, please call the number on the sign and we will come to you!
Please do NOT try to drag all your stuff up to us. We have a wagon and will be using our back gate to go in and out to eliminate the dogs getting near anything harmful.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience and ask that you allow an extra 5-10 minutes for drop off.
If you would like to send a text letting us know you’re on the way we can possibly get you helped faster.

I just want to give a big thank you to everyone for being patient while we work out kinks with the app. It seems like things are running smooth lately! If you ever have issues you can always text or call me.

We do require Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. You can either upload your vaccines to the app, send a text of the paperwork or bring a copy when you come in.
If these vaccines are not current when you come in, your dog cannot stay. This is your responsibility as a pet owner.
I’m guessing because it’s easier to put all of your reservations in at once, I am booking up really fast for this summer. So if you know your dates, get them in quick as I’m getting down to the last few spots for most of the summer. 
I will not be taking new clients between the months of May and August to help keep space for the people who have been with me for years but this does not guarantee space for your pets.

As always, a lot of shelter are overflowing and can’t do much about people leaving dogs out in the freezing cold.
If you know anyone with an outdoor dog that will not (or can not) bring them in during the extreme weather coming. Please either give them my info or give me their info.
We can help with heat pads, blankets, tarps, or possibly have the dog come to the kennel as long as it is fully vaccinated. No judgment m, just help! We do not charge but ask the owners bring food. Please do not abuse this offer! We do this for the dogs and don’t want to be forced to stop doing it because of dishonesty.

I’ve had a few people reach out and say that the app is only letting them book during the week between the 2 to 6 hours. I’m not sure why this is happening, but I have contacted the company and hopefully will get this figured out.
I am open Monday through Friday 8 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 6 PM. If you are having issues with it, please let me know.

Saturdays 8am-12pm
Sundays 12pm-4pm

Yes, we made it through the storm.
Yes, we currently have power (thank goodness)
All we lost was one of the canopies and it’s just because we didn’t have it anchored down .
And yes, it is beautiful outside now so we are taking FULL advantage and getting out our zoomies.
Also, if anyone on here is an electrician, we are looking to hire someone to wire our building for a generator. We have been blessed not to lose power, but this has been making me nervous lately.

Before you even consider putting your dog outside today to take a quick bathroom break, please put your sprinkler on and let it take the temperature of the ground down.

This is why we limit potty breaks in this heat to the small yard only after running the sprinkler for almost 30 minutes.
This is also why I am extremely tired this time of year because I do play time when the sun goes down and early in the morning before it comes back up! I’m thankful I have amazing help so I can take naps often 😂

It was brought to my attention that many people around us are without power.

I would have made this post yesterday if I was aware.

If you are without power and don’t have the ability to take your pets (dogs, cats, rodents, whatever you have) please call me!

I have a friend willing to help take a few dogs in her home to help.
While the kennel is full, I have the ability to take a few in my home and even keep them separate from my pets if needed.

I hope everyone is staying as cool as possible.

As most of you know, most of my clients are related and their entire families use us, so unfortunately when Grandpa got sent to the hospital, an entire family canceled their trip for this weekend, which opened up seven kennels.

I had to drain the pool and we added rock to the bottom (the dogs were to scared to jump in with the dark bottom) now they impatiently wait!
We also got 2 more of our 20x10 shades for the yard.. now we wait for the fans to come in!
We will be staying cool this summer!

Quick announcement.
Our hours will be changing as of June 1st
Monday - Friday 8am-12pm and 2pm-6pm
Sat and Sun will stay the same
Saturday 8am-12pm
Sunday 12pm-4pm
This will help us be able to do uninterrupted playtime, cleaning and bath time.

And now for the part I absolutely HATE as of August 1st 2023 our pricing will be increasing. I have always made the best effort to keep cost as low as possible but unfortunately in order to keep us open, our new pricing will start August 1st.

Nightly rate will be $30 for the first dog and $25 a night for each additional dog.
This will still cover treats, bedding, and playtime.
Owner need to provide food.
All dogs need up to date vaccines (Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella)
If these are not in the app, emailed, or a hard copy provided at or before drop off, we will not be able to accept your pet.

This morning the sky was clear and we were all out playing and within just a minute it shifted and became dark. As I’m running and yelling for all the dogs to get inside, Spin thought it was a game and took off running in circles, jumping all around. When the downpour hit, he froze like a statue and now I think he needs therapy. Poor guy thought he was under attack by those gigantic drops

I recently had an issue with a cleaning company we hired in our home.
This company was talking poorly about a woman that worked with them about a disability she can not change. After I let them go they were upset that I made a complaint.
As retaliation they have started posting these reviews over and over on my google listing. Please disregard them.
These people have never done business with Black Creek Boarding and I am sorry for their childish behavior.
I am currently in the process of deleting our google listing as I mostly operate by word of mouth.

Hello everyone!
It has been brought to my attention by multiple people that someone is implying that I am still affiliated with White House Boarding & Grooming.
I would like to make a statement that I left there on January 2, 2020 and have never been back. I am sorry for this misinformation.
The girl that took over, Krista, runs thing at that kennel now and I am sure anyone that uses them would be happy with the service they offer.
I just wanted to clear this up for anyone that was given any misinformation.

Wow! Is it April already?
I can't believe how fast this year is going and how eager everyone is to get traveling.
I am currently almost full through August. If you know the dates that you are wanting to travel, please get the app downloaded and request your dates. Please know that you are always welcome to call or text to check in on pets or let me know you are having an issues with the app.
I will not be taking any new clients (humans) until August 15th. If you have already done a meet and greet, or already scheduled your stay, this does not apply to you.

Starting June 1st we will only be accepting reservations through the app.
It's super easy to download in the app store. You search "Black Creek Boarding" and download. You will create your profile, add your pets, and upload their vaccines.
We will have a change in pricing starting June 1st. It will stay $25 a night for the first dog but we will be increasing to $20 a night for each additional dog from the same household.
We will still honor our LEO, and FD discount. Feel free to ask us at drop off, how to save on any stay 3 nights or more. Only one discount can be applies at a time.

This Thanksgiving I have so much to be thankful for that I am blown away.

I AM NO LONGER CLOSING!!

I will be posting a few big changes to come that will make everything easier on everyone but I am just so happy I listened to everyone and accepted all the help that was offered!

After my last post so many people reached out expressing that they wanted to help me fix all the things I was struggling with after the fire.
I have had an overwhelming amount of support and it has literally brought me to tear so many times over the past month.
Once the big issues in the house were fixed, I was left with finding solutions to 2 more problems..
1. Lack of help
2. A better system for paperwork (as most of you know I struggle with electronics)

The best part is.. I officially have help that I truly trust with my entire life! I will introduce her soon!
The new solution to paperwork will be an app that is being designed to make things easier on everyone. Once it is completed I will post and let everyone know what to do.

I'm so sorry if i stressed everyone out by saying I was leaving but I didn't realize how many amazing people I had around me that were willing to help me get all of this in order. I tend to just deal with my struggles alone and for once I'm so happy I had help!

So this Thanksgiving I'm thankful to be back in my home with my family but also I'm so thankful that I have been blessed with so many amazing people who support me and my family!

I'm struggling with finding the right words to say this..
I love and appreciate all of the support I have been given in starting over. The move to a new home, with a new business was scary but I had so many amazing people that were right beside me cheering me on!
As most of you know the past year was a big set back with the house fire. We spent the 2 years prior to the fire remodeling this house and we lost all of it. The few meaningful things that could have been saved were lost or destroyed by PuroClean and FRSTeam. This was my breaking point but I have found the closure I needed with all the trauma that came from this but sadly it involves us moving.

I'm so sad to announce that we will be closing down on January 4th, 2022. We will be listing the property for sale and starting a new chapter in our lives. If this major event taught me anything in life, it is that I want to focus on my family more and I need to focus on my physical and mental health.

I will work on a list of referral for everyone. I will take the time to consider everyone's personality type and hopefully get everyone where the pets will be the happiest.

I'm going to miss everyone so much and I'm really going to miss all my time I get with the dogs but I hope you all understand.

I'm hopeful that someone will buy the property and start a new kennel and hopefully they will just keep all of you as clients but I won't get my hopes up just yet.

Happy Easter!
If you have left a voicemail or sent a text in the past few days just know I'm trying to return all the calls/text. It's a holiday weekend and spring break for some schools so we stay busy. I also think we just started showing up on Google because the number of new people calling in the past week is WAY UP and we are a family run, small business so it takes me a little time to get to everyone.

I also want to say thank you to everyone who has taken the time to write a review! It means a lot to mean!

I am still accepting new clients but I always try to keep enough space for my regulars.
