Rest in Peace, Charlie. Such a sweet boy all his life, intuitive and comforting, greatly missed already.

Charlie started declining slowly over the course of the last 12 months, and 2 weeks ago we learned he had become fairly anemic, with all the “fixable within reach” things ruled out. I was pretty surprised today to learn his numbers had plummeted so low so fast as to be in crisis… he was quite a stoic boy and though I knew he was struggling with basics, I didn’t realize his situation was so dire with an imminent crash coming, likely over the weekend. So, I chose to say goodbye rather than let him suffer through another night. 💔💛💔

Eden had a great weekend at the GSLSSC specialty - she got to compete in the Best of Breed class, and won Select twice & Best of Opposite once. Loving the prizes offered by the club - a delightful art pottery piece, and a gorgeously embroidered cooler which will always make me blush and chuckle a little bit 🤭

Forte at 5 months - he is teething and going through a big growth phase (slow down, Forte!!) but I love the budding big coat, and actually see more balanced body proportions than I expected to see. He is a very exuberantly affectionate boy, and is in the mood lately to throw himself into my arms for a big old hug-n-cuddle 🥰.
