Arya/Iko boy earning his dinner!

Last night, Deputies responded to the Yelm area for a Domestic Violence incident. The suspect fled on foot prior to our arrival. Deputies developed probable cause to arrest the suspect for multiple felony level DV crimes. Deputies requested K9 Igo to respond to try and locate the suspect. After numerous K9 warnings with no response, K9 Igo quickly tracked and took the suspect into custody as he was trying to hide from us in thick grass. Great job Deputies and thanks to Yelm PD for their assistance!

Igo does it again! Arya/Iko 🖤💙🖤💙

Last night, a Deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle but lost sight of the vehicle. Shortly later the Deputy located the vehicle but the driver had fled on foot. We were able to identify the driver and he had a felony warrant and was know to be violent. K9 Igo responded to the scene to track the suspect. The suspect had a hour head start on K9 Igo but Igo quickly located the track. We tracked for approximately another hour and we gave numerous K9 warnings. The suspect refused to surrender and K9 Igo made contact with the suspect hiding in the bushes. K9 Igo took the suspect into custody with the assistance for his hander and other Deputies. Good Boy Igo!!
