Thank you to the Petfinder Foundation for awarding Pet Network Humane Society a 2024 Cat Enrichment Grant! We are using this grant to provide our cats & Kittens with exciting daily enrichment items such as light up aquariums and tasty lickimats just to name a few. These enrichment items help give them the most comfortable and stress-reducing environment during their stay with us!

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our Mountain Buddies Program this week! Because of you, two lucky pups, Tostitos and Vermillion, got to leave the shelter for a few hours and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Their tails were wagging non-stop as they explored the great outdoors, all thanks to your kindness and support.

Your involvement means the world to these animals, giving them a much-needed break and a chance to experience the joy of adventure. We’re so grateful to have such an amazing community that loves and supports our shelter pets.

🐾 A Heartwarming Success Story: Chevy’s New Beginning 🐾

We are thrilled to share the story of Chevy, now known as Regie, who finally found his perfect match after a long stay at our shelter! Chevy had been patiently waiting for someone who truly understood him, and that special person came all the way from Portland, Oregon.

Chevy's adopter is no stranger to our shelter, having previously adopted another misunderstood pup who turned out to be his best friend. Just like his previous dog, Chevy had been adopted and returned, waiting for the right person to come along. And when that moment finally arrived, it was a match made in heaven!

We recently heard from Chevy’s new dad, who let us know they made it safely from Incline Village to Portland, and that Regie is settling in beautifully. He’s already starting to acclimate to his new environment, and his adopter couldn’t be more thankful for the chance to give Chevy the loving home he deserves.

Stories like Chevy’s remind us why we do what we do. Thank you to everyone who supports our mission and helps pets like Chevy find their second chance. ❤️🐶

WOW! What an incredible day we had at Julie’s Sign Shop’s 25th Anniversary Celebration! 🥳 We are beyond grateful to Julie and her amazing team for inviting us to be part of the festivities and helping us finding homes for some of our lovable pets.

The energy was electric, and the love for our animals was off the charts! Thanks to Julie’s Sign Shop, our furry friends got to shine, and some even left with their new families. We couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate 25 years of their fantastic work!

Female black pitty mix was found on Commonwealth Dr. in Kings Beach. She was seen crossing Raccoon St. and approached a good samaritan who brought her into our shelter. She came in wearing a pink collar with tags.
We have not been able to make contact with the owner at this time.
