So as most of you guys know, I got accepted into the teens and Oregon mustang adoption challenge!

I was lucky enough to get my first pick, tag #7829!

We bring this handsome 3 yr south steens gelding on April 15th!

We are currently looking for sponsors as well! Sponsors will get a spot on tag # 7829’s stall at the competition which has a Ton Of foot traffic! They will also be tagged in a pinned post in my training group page that is frequently shared to multiple pages!

Update on Dolly ❤️

We are now walk/trot/loping. She is figuring out collection and rounding out her body. She is able to walk/trot with only a halter on and is doing all of the maneuvers she knows. It’s taken a lot of learning and patience to get her here but I’m glad we are finally here🫶🏻

A little update on what’s been going on in the crazy world of Crazy C Training!

I am currently apprenticing MG Ranch & Performance Horses to better my skills as a trainer and horseman!

That being said I am TEMPORARILY not taking on anymore client horses that aren’t preplanned. I am hoping to open my services back up around summer again!

I am currently purchasing Dolly (as everyone knows very well) and will keep updating on our progress!

Thank you to everyone who has supported me this far and I hope to continue building on what I’ve created so far!

2. Companion/ Pasture pet: sarge 9 Yr old grade qh gelding. Companion sound only. 8🫶🏻🫶🏻

Amber
4 yr old grade quarter horse mare
Selling for a client. I am the trainer and have had her with me since August.

NOT BEGINNER FRIENDLY

Amber is the perfect horse for a training and competing family! She has super smooth gates and has a great foundation!

Pros:
Picks all four feet up nicely
Stands to be saddled
Takes a bridle and is ridden in a jr cow horse bit
Walks,trots, starting to canter, backs, turns, etc under saddle. Transitions from walk-trot and trot-walk are smooth. Cantering under saddle is still new to her so currently figuring that out.
Stands for a bath
Tarps, bags, flags, whips, etc are no issue with her. Little to no spook
Trailers like a champ
Stands in cross ties and straight ties (does get impatient tho)
Easy to worm
Lunges
Learning to lay down
Great with dogs and kids
Loads of personality

Cons:
She has started to rear on the ground and in the saddle. She will flip herself over until she exhausts herself (hasn’t offered to flip over while riding just on the ground) We are currently working on this
Gets impatient when something takes to long
Will get buddy sour easily
Demanding when food is involved in anything (grain,treats,hay, anything that’s in your hand that smells good)
