Don’t forget we are accepting donations for local children in need of toys this year. If you have any gently used or new toys that need a home, the Steinford Toy Foundation would love to give them to a local child in need.

🎄🎅 Help us give back to our community this holiday season! 🎄🎅

We have a donation box in the clinic for new, unwrapped toys to be donated to the Steinford toy foundation who will distribute the toys to local families in need. We will have the box for donations behind the front desk.

Just a reminder, we will be closed tomorrow for Thanksgiving as well as Friday to allow our staff time to enjoy the holiday with family. Please call for medication refills or come get food today! We will be open Monday.

As Thanksgiving approaches we wanted to let everyone know that we will be closed Thanksgiving day as well as the day after (11/28 and 11/29). If your pets need anything be sure to call us ahead of time!

Last week a very kind citizen picked this baby up off of the side of the road and brought him to us. He must have been hit by a car, or some other trauma, because he has a broken pelvis. He is still getting used to people trying to be nice to him but he’s a good boy!

🎃👻Since Halloween is right around the corner we decided to do our costume contest again this year! All entries will be entered to win a gift basket, there will be one dog and one cat winner. Winners will be announced Friday November 1st! 🎃👻

Last but certainly not least vet tech appreciation post.

Emily recently joined our team here at ACVC. Emily has been a great addition to our family as she bring new ideas and skills to our team. She has her associates degree in Veterinary Technology and is working towards being a licensed veterinary technician!

Emily enjoys spending time with her family, playing Monopoly, and loving on her pets at home! We are so glad to have her a part of our team!

Vet Tech appreciation post!

Paula is not new to the ACVC family as she has been a client with us for many years, however, she is new to our staff! Paula previously had a career as a human dental hygienist. After retiring from that profession, she decided to do something different and join us here!

Paula has been a wonderful addition to our staff! She is enjoying learning about animals and getting to care for them and their owners. She loves crafting, spending time with her family, and hanging out with her dog Clyde!

First up on our Vet Tech appreciation spotlight is Jenn. Jenn has been a veterinary technician for over 20 years and brings much value to our clinic. Not only does she have the best personality, she is great at her job too!

Some of Jenn’s favorite things to do are spending time with her kids, taking care of her farm animals, going to Gatlinburg, and going to the movies.

As some of you know, Jenn has some delicious farm fresh eggs for sale too! Stop by the clinic and she’ll be happy to help ya!

Veterinary technicians are the backbone of our clinic and veterinary medicine in general. We would not be able to care for you or your pets the way we do without all of the work our technicians do.

Just wanted to share a video from this morning of a 4 month kittens ears to show how important those first visits are this could of been treated months ago and he would of been so much more comfortable. Thank you to Lucky tales rescue for taking him in and Dr. Hellmann for fixing him up. WARNING!! severe ear mite infection.

We are sorry for the delay but we used a prize wheel and put everyone's name on it. The winner of the goodie basket is Pixie!!! The basket can be picked anytime during business hours congrats and thank you to everyone that sent in pics they were all so cute
