We had the pleasure of doing Duke and Kaiser's first puppy visit last week. We will see them again in 3 weeks, and they will be twice the size! Look at those feet! If you have a pupp between 6 and 8 weeks call us to schedule their first puppy visit! You will get and exam by the doctor, their first of 3 distemper/parvo vaccines, we will check their p**p for worms, and get them started on a heartworm prevention! Put your puppy on the path to a healthy life!

Here are some of our dental x-ray finds!
Dental x-rays are an essential tool in the diagnosis and treatment of oral conditions in your pet because 60% of the tooth lies under the gums.
X-rays allow assessment of the tooth, root, bone as well as adjacent structures (teeth, nasal cavity, sinus, & blood vessels/nerves)

Some things that can be found on dental x-rays
- Abscessed teeth
- Fractured roots
- Unerupted or impacted teeth
- Even jaw fractures can be found

Check out this foot!
This cow visited Dr. Woofter a couple of weeks ago for an overgrown claw, and look what she found! This cow was suffering from white line disease with associated toe/sole ulceration going down to the bone!

We are waiting to see if she will heal with corrective trimming and an added block on her other claw. Goes to show that you never know what is hiding under an overgrown claw!
