Dapper Dog, LLC is hiring one groomer for our growing salon in Independence, OR, but also with flexibility to work mobile! Position will be part time with the potential for full time!
Our Ideal candidate must have 3+ years of grooming experience, knowledge of all breed standard cuts, and a desire for continuing education.
Other qualifications include: Must be 18+ years old, pass a background check, possess the ability to work independently and as a team, safely lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, reliable transportation with a VALID drivers license and clean driving record, basic computer and math skills, AWESOME customer service skills, and being totally amazing, as well as a team player😂😂
Dapper Dog was established as a mobile grooming business in 2015 and our salon opened its doors in 2022. Our salon is drama/stress free and fun! My groomers work one on one, straight through on each pet. We don’t kennel at the salon. A typical day includes 3-6 grooms or bath dogs and a handful of nail trims. We don’t take walk ins at the salon unless it’s between appointments, but even that is not common. Also, you don’t have to answer the phone! I handle all phone calls and scheduling (excluding people walking in to book an appt). All employees share in the duties to keep a clean and safe grooming environment. We also have a bather/receptionist that will be extra hands for the groomers.

We are open Mon-Fri - typically 7a-3 or 8-4p.
