It’s been a while since we posted pups! This is Chewie! He had his first big boy haircut with Marissa today🥰 He was nervous but was a complete gentleman! Can’t wait to see him again!

Ok Friends 🫣 I decided to switch cell phone carriers today due to some service issues and of course there was a technical difficultly 😒 That being said NONE of our business phones (with the exception of maybe one out of 7) is working. Our main line is down currently. This is tricky because I need to be connected to wifi to connect through our scheduling app so clients know when we are coming for mobile services, because even my personal phone isn’t working, meaning I have a to plan a trip to the cell store
tomorrow morning very accurately 🤦🏼‍♀️

Right now I can only contact employees and clients through FB, Insta, Moego (our scheduling app), and Snapchat - thank goodness for social media, right? That being said, I appreciate your patience. This is not how we expected this to go, it was supposed to be a swift transition and we appreciate the patience on this one. It’s definitely a weird feeling being “in limbo” when you run a company through technology! I’ll post an update when I know more! Thank you!

Dapper Dog, LLC is hiring one position a groomer for our growing salon in Independence, OR! Position will be part time with the potential for full time!

Our Ideal candidate must have 2+ years of grooming experience, knowledge of all breed standard cuts, and a desire for continuing education.

Other qualifications include: Must be 18+ years old, pass a background check, possess the ability to work independently and as a team, safely lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, reliable transportation, basic computer and math skills, AWESOME customer service skills, and being totally amazing 😂😂

Our salon is drama/stress free and fun! My groomers work one on one, straight through on each pet. We don’t kennel. A typical day includes 3-6 grooms or bath dogs and a handful of nail trims. We don’t take walk ins unless it’s between appointments, but even that is not common. Also, you don’t have to answer the phone! I handle all phone calls and scheduling (excluding people walking in to book an appt). All employees share in the duties to keep a clean and safe grooming environment. We also have a bather/receptionist starting soon that will be extra hands for the groomers.

Benefits:
W2- hourly pay + tips
Flexible schedule and no weekends!
We are open Mon-Fri - typically 7a-3 or 4p.
PTO after 6 months for full time employees
Christmas and Thanksgiving paid off after employed 90 days.
Closed all major holidays.

and only at the salon (no mobile position available at this time)

Our Ideal bather/receptionist candidate will have experience with dogs and cats and basic knowledge of pet care. We will train the perfect candidate! Just be eager to learn!

Well, this was around 2p today. We are only 5 miles from Skyline/Kuebler in South Salem and it seems like a whole different world out here in the country 😂 We made the decision to close early today for the safety of our staff. We may have to close tomorrow, and if it doesn’t get above freezing, we will have to close on Friday as well. We DO have openings in the salon tomorrow and Friday, if anyone would like to brave the snowy weather and come down there - while it may be clear in town, it may also not be clear out here 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

This pretty lady had puppies about 7 weeks ago (we only groom previously pregnant dogs after they’ve weened their puppies) and she’d missed a couple grooming appointments. Just a reminder that we follow Salem Keizer School Districts Inclement Weather policies. We appreciate everyone who allowed us to reschedule the end of the day today so we could all make it home safely. We are aware the roads are currently icy and will make all decision in the morning and let everyone know as soon as possible. We appreciate everyone’s understanding! This video is from approx 2p at my house and it still looks like this - just iced over 🥶

Now seems like a good time to remind everyone that we currently follow the Salem Keizer school district inclement weather/school closures. While we don’t anticipate that happening in the near future, but please help us stay safe on the road! We don’t all live at the same elevation and while we may have snow out here, you may not at your house, or vice versa. Our vans do not handle well in the snow/icy conditions, nor would we ask our staff or clients to drive when it isn’t safe of us to be on the road. If at any point in the winter your driveway is too icy or you have snow on the ground, shoot me a text and we will work it out together! You will hear from me as well! I don’t imagine this snow sticking today, but it sure it starting to feel like winter!
