It's only one month until our Halloween pet costume contest! 🎃
We are very excited that this will be our first in person contest since 2019!
This contest is ONLY for current PAWS patients, as we want to give back to our PAWS family 🐾

There will be amazing prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Prizes will include 6 months of prevention! 🦟
We will require a current examination within the past year, as well as an up to date heartworm/ tickborne disease test.

Brinkley and Cosmo Kramer are an adorable pair 💜
Recently these well behaved pups came to see us for examinations and vaccinations and they did great!
Cosmo Kramer was adopted this year from a hoarding situation and he adores his brand new family 🐾
Brinkley was adopted a few years ago and has accepted her new little brother well 😁
We look forward to watching Cosmo grow into a happy and healthy adult, and helping Brinkley stay happy and healthy for many years to come 💜😊

Chunk is one handsome cat!
This good looking boy belongs to our team member Drew 🐾
Recently Drew noticed Chunk's left eye seemed cloudy with a color change and he brought him in for an exam.
Anti-inflammatory medications were given, but unfortunately no change was noted.
Removing the eye and sending it out for biopsy was recommended, and performed by Dr. Parkin.
Chunk has healed well after his procedure, and he is back to his sweet and snuggly ways 💜
**Update**
The biopsy of Chunk's eye did come back as lymphoma. This is a type of cancer, so Chunk will be monitored for any sign of the cancer spreading. For now we are happy that he's feeling great, and are looking forward to many more happy times for this distinguished senior 🐾😊

Mr. Glass is one handsome chihuahua 😍
This good looking pup is a family member of our team member Shari 🐾
He came in recently for his annual examination, blood work, and vaccinations and he did great!
He can be fiesty at times but he did enjoy his girls at PAWS 😊
During his examination we noticed a mass had changed and decided removal would be best due to the location.
We are happy to report the mass was removed and the biopsy result was benign 🙌👏👏
You did great for everything Mr. Glass!
We look forward to helping you stay happy and healthy for many years to come 💜

September is the month we focus on ways our pets show us they may be in pain/discomfort. 🤕
Our pets don't tend to show pain as easily as us humans do.
Some pets will eat less, hesitate when sitting or getting up, or even lick the area that is bothering them excessively. 🐾
If you think your pet may be in pain don't hesitate to bring them in for an examination and we can let you know our findings and ensure your furry family member is comfortable 💗

We are a three doctor, full service American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited veterinary hospital offering wellness care, routine and advanced surgery, dentistry, oral surgery, in-house diagnostics, OFA screening, therapeutic laser, and reproductive care. We are fully equipped with electronic medical records, digital radiography, and digital dental x-ray. We also offer grooming and full day, and overnight boarding. Drop-off appointments and same-day appointments are available from 8am-7pm Seven days a week.
